Your POV
Paul and I sat down next to the biggest tree in the park. It was a hot summer day and Paul and I are on a date! He's like super sweet! I am so glad I met him. He has been writing things down in a notebook, I wonder what he's writing down. I look up and meet his eyes "What are you looking at?" I ask him "You." He smirks "Why? Do I have something on my mouth?" I ask him. He chuckles and shakes his head before looking up at the tree and then back at me "I just...I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to sing a song with me. It's something I wrote." He says and hands me the notebook. I start to read it, great lyrics. He grabs his guitar and starts playing and I started singing.

Song: Hanging Tree
By: James Newton Howard

Are you, are you

Coming to the tree
They strung up a man
They say who murdered three
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging treeAre you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where dead man called out
For his love to flee
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging treeAre you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where I told you to run
So we'd both be free
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging treeAre you, are you
Coming to the tree
Wear a necklace of hope
Side by side with me
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging treeAre you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where I told you to run
So we'd both be free
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging treeAre you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where they strung up a man
They say who murdered three
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging treeAre you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where dead man called out
For his love to flee
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging tree

When we finished I looked at him "I love it." I tell him "You do?" He asks "I do! We should come here more often, you get some great ideas when you're underneath the tree." I tell him "I have a great idea." He says "Oh, and what might that be?" I ask him. He leans in and gives me a kiss.
