You wake up the next morning feeling happier than you did last night.
After getting dressed and brushing your hair and teeth, you checked your phone and saw that you had a bunch of texts in the group chat.
"Holy shit. I have the worst fucking hangover right now." That was from Wade.
"Same here." That one was from Bob.
"What the hell even happened last night?"
"I got engaged." You smiled at that text.
"You what?!" Wade's response was in all caps.
"Holy shit." Bob's response was also in all caps.
"Who's the lucky lady?"
"Are you fucking serious right now Wade?"
"Yeah Wade! We all know he's marrying the girl next door!"
"Wha-?! No! Are you still drunk?"
"Of course not."
"We were just kidding. Congrats bro. Who's the Best Man?"
"Can't I both have you be the Best Man?"
"That's not how it works."
"Shit."
You burst out laughing reading that. But you stopped laughing when an important thought came to mind.
"Shit! Who the hell is going to be my Maid Of Honor?"
You then thought of Zai and her friends. They were pretty nice to you for a bit and you didn't really have anyone else to take over the roles.
"But what about Mark?" You thought. "Bob and Wade are all he has."
A text shook you out of your thoughts.
"Hey my soon-to-be-wife. How's it going?"
"Good. Hey, where do you think we should get married?"
"Wherever you want." He texted, following the text with a smiley face.
"Hawaii? I've been wanting to go there for years."
"Yeah. I remember you saying something like that."
"But is that where you want to go?"
"It would be nice to go back to the place where I was born?"
"You wanna get married in Oahu, do you?"
"How about we get married on a cruise ship going there? And then that's where our honeymoon can be."
"That's a lot of money."
"I'd pay all the money in the world just to get married to you if I had to."
"You're so sweet. So, cruise ship to Oahu it is. Now we just need a date when it's all going to happen."
"How about a month from now?"
"How are we going to get everything ready in a month?!"
"I know people. Just trust me on this (Y/N). I won't fuck this up."
"Okay. I believe you. But who are picking to be your Best Man?"
"I really don't want to have to choose between Bob and Wade."
"But you have to."
"I know and I don't want to."
"I'm sure the other won't be mad about you choosing the other. I bet they'll understand."
"I know that but I can't choose!"
"Well, you have a month to choose. Who else are you going to have there?"
"Probably some other YouTube people."
"Oh. I'm going to have a friend from college as my Maid Of Honor."
"That's cool. And not to put a damper on things or anything, but have you heard about (R/N) recently?"
"No. Why?"
"They gave her the death penalty. They executed her a couple days back."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Wow."
"At least she won't be able to kill anyone anymore."
"Yeah.."
"What's wrong? Aren't you happy about that?"
"Well, it's just that we were really good friends before I found out about the things that she did. I thought that I finally found my best friend."
"Whatever happened to us being best friends?"
"Well..."
"You don't need her (Y/N). Bob, Wade, and I are here for you no matter what."
"You're right."
After no response came, you typed something to him.
"Let's get back to the wedding. What kind of attendance numbers are we looking at?"
"No one from my family. All I've got are Bob and Wade and other YouTube people. How about you?"
"Friends from college and my parents. But my parents might bring some of their friends or something."
"Sounds good. I better go. I've got lots of planning that needs to be done."
"Do you want me to help you?"
"Nope. I want to make it extra special."
"Fine then."
You turned your phone off and put it in your pocket. You walked out of your room and went downstairs.
"Mom? Dad?" You called, not seeing them. You started looking around the house and you didn't find them anywhere.
But that's when you heard your phone ringing.
