"How was the doctors?" Kain asked walking into the kitchen.
"It was good! We're having a girl" Des smiled rubbing her belly
I was honestly happy that I was going to have a daughter with the love of my life even if things are a bit rocky between us
"Aw shit another girl" He smiled giving her a hug before giving me one "Heaven how you feel about having a little sister?" He asked her
"Good! I can dress her and do her hair"
"Kairo you happy you having a sister?" I asked him
"No" he shook his head mugging us
"Man boy gone somewhere" I laughed mushing his head
"But that's good! Are you guys having a baby shower this time around or?" He looked between me and her And I shrugged
"It's all on her. If she wants one then she'll get one"
"No I don't. I rather use all that money to decorate the nursery"
I nodded my head agreeing because that's the more reasonable thing to do. Baby showers were hella money and at the end of the day you end up with a lot of the same gifts and still gotta spend more bread to get the shit you really need.
"Is my baby sister going to sleep in my room with me?" Heaven asked looking between Desire and me
"No baby. The baby will sleep in my room and then she'll sleep in her own room" Desire said as she took a bite of the cheesecake we bought on the way home
I got up going to the bathroom when my phone went off. I reached in my pocket pulling it out seeing that Bria was calling me. Sighing I slid my finger across the screen answering
"Wassup?"
"Dave they killed her! Someone killed Star!" She screamed through the phone causing my heart to drop to the pit of my stomach
"Fuck you mean they killed her? Who killed her?" I asked her trying to see if I heard right.
"I don't know! I was trying to call her and she wouldn't answer so I went to her house and it was surrounded. They killed her and some guy that was with her" She cried "Dave the baby didn't make it either"
Once those words left out her mouth I felt like the room was spinning. The world was crashing down on me and I didn't know how to stop it.
