"How was school?" I asked Heaven as I picked her up.
"Good. I'm tired daddy" She whined
"I bet you stayed until almost 6 today that's crazy" I laughed a bit opening the door for her to get in
"I know but we're done with practice now so I can go home normally now"She said as she got in
She was practicing for a school concert that was happening sometime next week and the school was overworking my poor baby
"That's good you hungry?" I asked her as I got ready to pull off
"No they ordered pizza but are we going to go see mommy?"
"Yeah we gotta go to the store and get somethings so she's coming"
"Is my brother coming too?" She asked getting excited
"Yes Kairo is coming too" I laughed
I love the bond she has with him and I love the fact that although Desire isn't her biological mother she doesn't treat her any differently.
I was scared of how everything was gonna play out when Kairo was born because that was her blood son so I thought she would show favoritism but I was wrong.
She treats them both equally and never singles Heaven out
I'm honestly thankful that I picked her to be a mother figure for Heaven because her real mother ain't shit
I pulled up to Desire's house parking the car
"Here call mommy and tell her hurry up old lady" I told her giving her my phone
She took my phone unlocking it and calling Desire.
"Hello?" She answered
Heaven put the phone on speaker before talking
"Hurry up old lady"
"Girl who are you talking to"She laughed
"I'm just telling you what daddy said"
"Oh really that's what he said?"
"Yup" She giggled
"I'm beating him up but tell him I'm coming Kairo is being fussy but I'll be out" She said
"Okay love you mommy"
"Love you too baby see you in a bit" She said before hanging up
"Let's take a picture daddy"She said handing me my phone
