"All done" Heaven smiled as she finished her homework
"See baby I told you that you could do it"
"Now can I hold my brother?" She asked giving me a pout
I laughed nodding my head.
Heaven was so obsessed with being an older sister that she did anything she could to be with Kairo all day.
"Daddy I can hold my baby brother now" she told Ant as he walked in the house
"Wow baby that must mean you finished your homework right?" He asked her
"Yup. It was easy." She shrugged making her way to his play pen we had in the living room
"How was she?" Ant asked me taking a seat at the table with me
"She was good as always. You know she's well behaved. Her teacher said that she's amazed at how quickly she caught on to everything for only being 7"
"Well you know she gets her brains from me" He popped his imaginary collar
"Boy you ain't all that" I laughed getting up going into the living room
Heaven was already sitting down patiently waiting for me
I picked up Ro gently placing him in her arms.
"I love you Ro" She said quietly before placing a kiss on his forehead
The sight melted my heart. After I lost the baby I was caring a couple years ago I never thought I would actually have children ever again, So for me to have two is a blessing even if one isn't my blood. I still wouldn't trade her for the world.
"Where's Carter?"
"He went to check out the studio"
"He bought one?"
"No. He decided to build one from scratch because it'll have more meaning" I chuckled shaking my head.
After having his mind set on renting the Studio we had seen Carter backed out and decided to build one from the ground up.
He said that way it'll have more meaning to him and it'll make it a better place for his artist to be able to express themselves.
"So he's going to start his own label too?"
"Yeah but he said he's really only going to manage them. He wants his artist to have as much control over their music and career so he's only there for back up support"
"That's good though because it'll make more people want to sign with him"Ant said as he took a seat on the couch
"Yeah that's what I told him. It'll be great business for him. I'm proud" I smiled "How's everything with you and your barber shop?" I ask while taking Kairo from Heaven since he was getting fussy
