5 Months Later
"Dave wake up" I heard someone's voice call out
"Leave me alone" I mumbled trying to go back to sleep
"Come on David you can't keep doing this to yourself" Layla said yanking the blankets off my body.
"Layla don't you got school or some"
"No it's summer now come on. Get up. All you've been doing is drinking and smoking your life away these past couple of months. Get over that bitch and move on"
I finally opened my eyes running my hands down my face before looking at her

"I'm good Lala I promise" I gave her a weak smile
"You don't fool me. Now I made you breakfast. Kain left to go to Diamond's appointment. I'm going to the store to buy some groceries. You better not be in bed when I come back" She said leaving out the room
I laid there staring at the ceiling wanting to go back to bed. I grabbed my phone seeing that it was barely 8:30 in the morning
I groaned contemplating on whether or not I should go back to bed. I ended up knocking out around 5 in the morning so these couple of hours of sleep wasn't going to do me any justice but I had shit I needed to do.
I sat up in bed rubbing the rest of the sleep out my eyes.
