"Wassup man?" Carter asked as he opened the door
"None much Desire invited me over" I told him as I stepped in
"Yeah she told me you was stopping by but she's not back yet some came up but make yourself at home" He said leading me to the living room
"Rashawn be nice to yo cousin man" I heard Kain's voice the closer we got to the living room
Carter stopped walking turning to look at me
"Be patient with him. He's been through a lot at a young age so his emotions are everywhere and his anger is overpowering him so don't take nothing he says personal" He told me
"I appreciate the advice but I don't think I need you telling me how to talk to my brother" I said walking past him
"Aye I'm just trying to help" He said
"Don't need it" I said walking into the living room
I really didn't need other niggas telling me how to talk to my brother. I think I know him better than anybody else.
I took a seat across from him causing him to look at me
"What you doing here?" He asked looking around I'm guessing for Desire
"Came to see my son" I point at a smiling Kairo who was giggling as he crawled making his way to me "Hey kid you miss your dada" I said as I picked him up
"Oh yeah forgot you a dad now" He said getting up
"Nah sit down we need to talk and it needs to happen now" I told him
"I'm not about to do this in front of the kids" He said
He was right though. This was something that didn't need to be discussed in front of the boys in case shit got ugly.
"You're right so what we gonna do? Wait until Des gets home? Cause we having this talk today Kain" I told him
I know damn well if we didn't have that talk tonight then we might never have it and I needed to be cool with my little brother. Once I fix things with him then I could focus on fixing things with the girls.
"I'll ask Carter to watch them" He said getting up "Carter" He called out
"Wassup man?" He asked coming in
"You mind watching the kids so I could talk to him?"He said pointing at me
I really didn't know how much more disrespect I was going to be able to take from this nigga before I beat his ass. Brother or not.
"Yeah man" He took the kids walking out
"Wassup?" Kain said taking a seat again
"I want you get everything off your chest. It's obvious you have shit to say to me and feel some type of way towards me so go ahead. Tell me wassup so we can squash whatever beef we have and move on cause I need my little brother back" I told him
