"Hey beautiful" He said as I reached his car.
"Hey"I smiled putting my head down hiding my blushing cheeks
"Don't put your head down baby. You're a queen and a queen never and I mean never has her head down you heard me? You should always have your head held high with your crown sitting tall"He grabbed my chin bringing my head up causing the biggest smile to appear on my face
"Thank you" I told him but he simply kissed my forehead as he opened the car door for me to get in
I got in putting my seatbelt on as he got into the drivers seat
"Where we going?" I asked him seeing that this wasn't the way to his house
"To the park. Have a picnic or some" He shrugged grabbing me hand kissing it
I looked at him and couldn't help admiring him. He was so handsome.
"Why you being a creep?"He wiggled his eyebrows making me laugh
"Because I can" I smiled wide showing off all my teeth
Within a few minutes we arrived at the park. It wasn't like a play ground but more like a forest preserve with nothing but nature around.
Once we got everything out the car we walked finding the perfect spot by the lake. We laid out the blanket taking seat.
"It's beautiful over here" I said looking around at the beautiful scenery "How you find this place?" I asked
"My grandpa used to bring me here every weekend before he died. Then eventually it became my thinking place" He spoke before taking a drink from his bottle of water
It was silent for a few seconds before he spoke again
"How you sleep last night?" He asked causing my body to tense up
I didn't want to speak of the events that happened last night. I didn't even want to think about them anymore.
"Um I slept good" I said trying not to stutter
"You lying and I can sense it. I can sense the fear that came over you when I asked. He touched you again?" He looked at me waiting for an answer but the only thing I could do was keep quiet to prevent me from crying "Des did he touch you again?" He asked again this time a little louder
I looked at him nodding my head yes as tears fell from my eyes
"That fucking sick ass bastard"He got up walking towards the car
I quickly got up running after him
"No please don't" I grabbed his hand causing him to turn around
"Please let me kill him Desire please. Let me help you out of this misery" He pleaded with me
"I can't do that to Dave I just can't" I told him still holding onto his hand so he wouldn't run off
"Des all I want is to protect you and make sure you never hurt in the hands of that bastard again.Fuck Dave and all his homies. I'll kill them all behind you. I love you Desire" He said causing me to freeze
This was the first time he's ever said he loved me and I didn't know what to say or what to do.
Luckily I got saved by his ringing phone. He pulled his phone out seeing it was his mom which only meant that it was Heaven facetiming him
"Yes princess?" He asked once her face popped up in the camera
"Daddy where Des?" She automatically asked
"Wow you calling to talk to her and not me?" He faked hurt
"Mhm Des"she called out my name
"I'm right here baby everything okay?" I asked her taking the phone from Ant smiling at her
"Me just wanted to say hi me miss you" Her little voice sounded so adorable
"I miss you too baby" I pouted a bit
"Wow Heaven you don't miss me?" Ant asked getting in the camera pushing my head out the way making me laugh
"Daddy me see you all time"She frowned "Me no see Des"
"I swear you're the cutest little girl ever" I told her making her smile
