"Fuck yo ass doing here?" I asked Los as he got closer

"Who you think you talking to lil nigga?" He sized me up

"The only nigga standing in front of me? You can get back in your car and leave before I make you leave" I shrugged

"You think you scare me?You ain't about that life nigga. You killed one nigga in your life and think you all big and bad" He laughed "I'll murder you and make sure they don't find you" He said through gritted teeth

"You think you scare me? Let's not forget the reason I killed that one nigga is for the women who's inside" I nodded my head in the direction of the house"  Just like if she told me to I'll lay you out right now"I said and all he did was laugh and tried to walk around me but I moved blocking him

"I really don't want to hurt you Dave"

"You gonna have to hurt me if you think Ima let you go inside and disturb Desire"

"You need to leave and mind your damn business" He mugged me

"She is my business whether you like it or not"

"Dave?" I heard Desire call out before appearing at the door "What are you doing here?" She spat once she seen Los

"I came to see how you're doing princess and talk" His face softened once he seen her

"I was just telling him to leave" I told her not taking my eyes off of him

"He can come inside"

I turned my head in her direction to make sure I was hearing her correctly

"You sure?" I asked her

"Yeah let him say what he has to say so he can leave" She walked inside with us right behind her "So why are you really here?" She asked taking a seat on one of the couches

"I told you I wanted to see how you were doing"

"So you show up to my door days after the funeral which was almost two weeks after everything happened? Not even a phone call to make sure I was okay?" She asked

"I was busy b-"

"Save your excuses. I don't need you coming to my house to see how I'm doing if you really don't care. Those excuses might fly with friends but not when it comes from a parent. When is a parent ever so busy that they can't call to make sure their child is good?" She asked

"If I didn't care you think I would be here?" He semi yelled

"Nah you don't care. I came to the realization that you don't care about me or how I'm doing. You don't really want to be a part of my life. You just feel guilty and you don't know how To  deal with all the guilt that's laying heavy on your conscience. So you're trying to find ways to ease your guilt" She laughed a bit
