As soon as Kain said that Dave had pulled up my heart started racing. I was nervous because I didn't know how this was gonna do.
Was he going to want to talk? Or was he just going to keep going like nothing happened and talk later? Regardless it had my heart beating Fast
I didn't want whatever when we talk to affect how long we've came because Dave's anger was something serious.
"Wassup bro?" I headed Kain say as he opened the door for him
I was stuck in my spot on the couch. I couldn't move cause of how nervous I was feeling.
"Hey kid you good?" Dave asked Kain "Wassup Carter" He greeted entering the living room as his eyes landed on me
"Wassup Dave. We were just heading out to get Kairo from my parents so we'll see y'all later" He said walking out the living room with Kain right behind him
Kain turnt around and sent me two thumbs up.
I know he wants us to work more than anybody.
Once they left the room fell into an awkward silence.
"You okay?" Dave spoke taking a seat in front of me
"Still a little hung over but I'm fine. You?" I asked
"Same but listen Desire we need to talk about what happened. I know we both didn't mean for this shit to happen. Shit honestly I still don't even know how the fuck it happened but it happened and there ain't Shit we can do to change it. We fucked up" He started
"I know Dave but" I cut him off only for him to cut me off
"Hold on let me finish. I know we've had hella issues in the past and I can't say that I didn't treat you wrong and left you when you needed me the most but that was past me. Il learning so I can be better"
"Dave we have so many issues that we haven't covered and need to discuss" I said
"Then let's talk. I'm willing to talk everything out right now. I want this to work Des! I know this isn't your ideal wedding or that we haven't done anything the right way but I'll be lying if I said I wasn't happy about this. Just seeing him basically begging for this made me know he was serious but there's always that doubt in the back of my head.
