"It feels amazing to be home" I said as I fell back on the couch
We had just gotten back from my birthday trip to Las Vegas and it was amazing. Carter couldn't go so he stayed back with Kain.
"Did you at least enjoy your trip?" Ant asked standing in front of me
"Yes I did. Thank you. Like for real thank you for everything. Thank you for seeing something in me that I didn't see in myself. You met me when I was a mess. When I thought coke was my way out. When I felt like I had no reason to live but you never thought different of me. You never made me feel any less of a women or human at that. You trusted me with your daughter regardless of my situation. You didn't let nothing I did stop you from believing in me. You let me follow my heart when it came to love and never made me stay with you. You always go out of your way to insure I'm good and happy. You even treat my son as yours. You saw me at my worst and I promise to show you me at my best. Thank you Ant. I love you so much that words can't explain it" I told him
He smiled at me before jumping on me hugging me which turned into suffocating me
"I can't breathe" I told him
"My bad" He laughed getting off of me "But you don't have to thank me for anything Desire. I saw the great person you are. You were a female who didn't see her worth because your whole life you've been told that you were worthless. You were used to be dominated with abuse and I wanted you to see that it's more to that. And look at everything you've accomplished since then. I wasn't wrong about you and you're an amazing mother figure to my daughter and amazing mother to Kairo. Just like I helped you out. You helped me out and held me down. I love you regardless of anything. I want to show you the world you can have if you don't give up" He said
By the time he was done tears were falling like a waterfall.
"Don't cry crybaby" He teased wiping the tears away
"I'm not a cry baby" I hit him laughing wiping the rest of the tears away
"there's none wrong with being one. But I'm glad you enjoyed your trip and I'm glad you got along with my girl because I need your approval before I introduce her to Heaven"
"She's really nice and I'm positive Heaven will love her but just know if she does anything to my baby I'm killing her" I warned because one thing I didn't play about was my kids and regardless if Heaven was mine biologically that girl was mine and I wasn't gonna let no harm come to her.
