You've heard all about it.

Some believe in love at first sight. You don't. You've seen so many boys, hot or not, and you've never felt the spark you're supposed to when your gazes meet. You think it's silly and incredibly ridiculous, because it's not possible...for you anyway.

You've heard countless stories about childhood sweethearts too. That's not quite possible for you either; you haven't got any close guy friends that you've been interested in, even the tiniest bit. They're far too close to ever be anything else.

And a lot of people talk about other silly things. They like to talk about that stuff, all the time. Sometimes it's a heroic, manly gesture to save a distressing damsel or a bold, flirtatious move on a crush.

Often they speak about a sudden love sprung from a hate-filled relationship. There's always this mean but ridiculously popular playboy and a poor innocent girl. And with your luck, there actually is such a snob in your school.

Oh Sehun.

But you know you definitely don't go for him and vice versa. He's just such a unpleasant little brat, you know?

All he cares about is his dumb bubble tea and what flavour he'll get for afternoon tea.

Your phone buzzes. Your best friend is at it again, spreading a new story that has so many readers it's crazy. It's about love at first sight. To you, that's plain weird. Don't you want to get to know your other half before you date? How do you even fall in love without knowing anything about them?

But nevertheless, it's still another way to fall in love.

You've counted approximately half a million ways, and none of them suit you.

"Hi Priscilla," D.O says. "What are you up to?"

"Hey D.O. I'm looking at Val's new fic. She's amazing but I honestly don't know why we are friends, let alone best friends. She's completely nuts."

"What's it about?"

"They're scenarios of different ways of falling in love. The one I'm reading is called Hidden Love- Hey look, she just posted another one. The More You Look, The Less You See."

"Yeah?" He looks mildly intrigued.

"I didn't know you'd be in interested in this stuff... It's basically about a girl looking for love, and then realising that the one she adores is the one beside her all the time, and that she doesn't need to search anymore."

"That's cool." D.O smiles his little heart-shaped smile, like he knows exactly what you're talking about.

"I guess? But you know, I'm tired of reading all this. I've always wondered about how my love story will go," you complain.

"Her latest thing seems right enough..." he says slowly, and tactfully.

"What are you implying?" you ask suspiciously.

"Aren't you looking too hard for love? They do say, love finds you and not the other way round."

"Ah D.O, you're being too mysterious now."

"I'll make it simpler. What's right in front of you?"

"Trick question?"

"No."

"You're in front of me. There's also a-"

"That's right," he interrupts, "And?"

Your eyebrows knit together in confusion. "What? I don't get it."

"You will. What's the concept of Valeria's new story?"

"The more you look, the less you see," you answer obediently.

"What I'm saying is you're trying too hard to predict the way you'll find love. You're missing what's in front of you: me." He takes a deep breath. "What I'm saying is....you haven't really noticed that I really really like you. Will you go out with me?"

You look much like him right now, with your eyes dinner plate-sized.

You hesitate but his smile does not falter. Do you love him? Or even like him that way? Do you feel fuzzy inside when he smiles at you? You focus on his bright smile.

"Yes, definitely yes," you reply.

"That's good. Do you see what's in front of you now?"

A radiant smile spreads across your face. "Yes."

There's a million ways to fall in love but only one applies to you. And that's precisely Hidden Love. You've been searching so hard that you've missed him all along.

Guess you'll have to thank Valeria, and maybe there is something more to it than weird storylines. But right now, what's happening here and now is more important. You give him a quick, shy peck on the cheek.

"Thanks for clearing everything up," you say fondly.

"You're welcome," he says and cups your face to give your first kiss.
