Chapter 40: As The Days Go By

I already finished and passed his test. Yeah...it was hard.

"hey! Combattente!" I yelled. He looked at me.

"why did my feelings for Tsuna came back? I thought I sacrificed it?" I asked.

"Maggiore brought it back" he replied.

Maggiore? Why?

"why?" I asked, confused.

"even I and we creators don't know why" he replied.

He shaked his head slowly.

I made a 'go on' face.

"Jewel-chan!" Tsuna yelled as he is carrying Misora.

"You suddenly disappeared. We were worried" he said.

"ahaha! Sorry for making you guys worry! You know, we don't know when they'll summon me!" I forced a smile.

"now, excuse me. I'll go and continue to bath" I said.

"see you later Misora" I ruffled her hair and left.

DAY 125

4 days more and we will attack the Torbido.

The Varia, Shimon and Millefiore will come on the very day of the attack.

We are all ready. I have gotten a lot stronger because of the arcobaleno.

Misora was acting strangely too. She's always smiling and giving her support to everyone everytime. She's more energetic than ever.

I polished my sword. Making it sharp than ever. Right now, I must watch on Tsuna more.

DAY 129

2 days to go. Today, I finished my training.

"Reborn" I said and it caught his attention.

"what?" he said.

"are you a father?" I asked. "or do you have any lover?"

"it's none of your business" he replied.

I pouted. "nevermind" I said and left.

I am walking around the base. Then, I met Misora on the way.

"mommy!" she greeted and hugged me.

"what are you doing here? It's night time and tomorrow will be last day before the attack" I said as I kneed to her level.

"I can't sleep, I want to eat some ice cream" she replied.

"want me to go with you?" I asked.

"no need. You also need to do some things for the attack. Bye!" she smiled and left.

'weird' I thought.

I continued strolling around. I found this 2 big doors with some locks. It needs a flame to open.

My white flames can open anything! Here it goes!

I made white flames appear on my ring and I injectec it to the lock.

The door opened...showing the room of Tsuna.

It reminded me to search for the letter. Tsuna is having a talk with the different allies anyway so, here goes nothing.

I entered and the door closed.

The letter wasn't very hard to find. It was just lying in a table. I got it and sat infront of the table, where a lamp is placed.

I turnec on the lamp. I gently opened the folder.

What is in here? Why did Tsuna snatched it from me?

I was about to unfold the letter but I felt someone's presence. I placed back the letter to it's folder and placed it back in the table. I turned off the lamp also.

I hid under Tsuna's bed. I'm like spy. More like in a movie which I'll get caught!

Tsuna came in. I can hear his footsteps. He turned on the lights. I saw his black heeled shoes stop at the table.

"Whew! I tought somone read it" he said.

I almost did! Someone almost read it and it is me!

He sat in his bed, on top of me. Man! He's heavy. He's bed is the bouncy one.

"hm?" he said.

He kept on bouncing. Ow! Ouch! I'm being squeezed!

He stopped bouncing. Thank goodness.

He went somewhere else cause I can't see his feet. He also turned off the lights.

"Whew! I thought he'll never lea-"

"got ya!" I heard Tsuna's voice and a hand holding my ankle. He pulled me out of the bed.

I turned to look at him and...he isn't happy. He isn't happy indeed.

"did you read the letter?" he asked.

"almost" I replied, still lying in the floor.

"hm...you need a punishment" he said. He was now on top of me.

I am blushing hard right now! I can feel that my face is hot.

"h-hey! I'm telling the truth!" I said with my eyes closed.

"but you need a pu-nish-ment" he whispered on my ear.

His breath on my ear made me go red even more.

"y-you have a child!" I said, still with my eyes closed.

"but she's not here" I can feel him grinning.

"now, time to bite you" he said.

I shut my eyes very tight and waited for the worse.

I can just only feel a nibble on my ear. I opened my eyes and he pulled away from me.

He smiled. "that's your punishment" he said.

"I-I-I thought-"

"I could never do that to you. And I don't want to be a pedo" he said.

"why you!" I got up and kept on punching him.

He just laughed and avoided my punches. We continued like this until I felt tired and fell to the floor, sleeping.
