Chapter 63- Cassiopeia's POV

Start from the beginning

"Oh we can't go to Hogwarts for the holidays this year, Leah is far too weak." Freddie says, impersonating Mum as he makes his way through the living room, "Is she really too weak or did you two just want us here for the seasonal rush?"

"Speaking about seasonal rushes," Dad says as Freddie sits down at the table and serves himself breakfast, "Don't think that I've forgotten about you stealing unreleased products to put on a show for your friends, then offering a thirty percent discount to everyone with proof that they were there young man."

Freddie shrugs, "I can't steal from a shop if my name is on the door." He says to Dad, "And it wasn't my friends, try two-hundred kids. Even with the discount, the sheer volume of people that were there and interested is going to boost sales this summer." Freddie takes a bite of his cinnamon bun, "You're just jealous that you didn't think of it."

"Lou said that it wasn't even your idea." Leah says coming into the kitchen and sitting down at the table, "He says it was all Evie's idea. You just took credit for it."

"You weren't even there."

"I've got informants."

Mum laughs, "You've got informants now?" She sets her cup of coffee in front of her usual chair and sits down.

"I've always had informants Mumma. Hogwarts is a big place, you've got to know what's going on and where." Ophelia says, she looks at Freddie, "That's how I know that your girlfriend was the one that thought of the brilliant firecracker show idea."

"So it was your girlfriend that told two hundred some odd kids that we'd give them a discount," Dad says.

Mum grumbles something under her breath about Angelina but I can't make it out. "Christ Dad, it's a great way to get young people into the shops and buy our new stuff. Without me and Evie then there wouldn't have been any advertisement and it would have all flopped."

"Just making sure that you were a hundred percent positive that it's going to work. It was a brilliant idea no matter who's it was. You've got a knack for sales."

"Is Uncle Harry here?" Annie yawns as she walks from her room and into the kitchen.

"Why would uncle Harry be here?" Freddie says to her.

Annie shrugs, "I heard someone say brilliant."

Everyone at the table laughs, Theo comes running in, "Awh I missed the joke?"

I stay quiet throughout the whole meal, not looking at anyone, my eyes fixed on my plate in front of me. "I'll give you five sickles if you shove this blueberry up your nose," Annie says to Theo.

Theo snatches the blueberry out of Annie's hand and goes to shove it in his nose. "Theodore, do you really want to visit St. Mungo's for a blueberry in your nose?" Mum says before he gets the chance to do it.

Theo looks at the blueberry, "Suppose not." He says before popping it in his mouth.

"Oh, I nearly forgot, Cassie, I need you to come with me to the shops so we can get things for dinner tonight," Mum says looking at me.

"Wait, no, no, no, no, no, that's not fair. We have to work downstairs all day but Cass can go to the store with you? I object!" Annabeth says loudly. She hits her hand on the table which makes her water splash out of her cup a little.

"And I object your objection, little miss." Mum says to her, "You lot better head downstairs, the shop opens in half an hour."

After a quick kiss from Mum, Dad manages to get everyone else out of the front door, leaving me and Mum alone in the kitchen.
