I took a couple steps closer, holding my gun against his jaw. My body was merely touching his chest while I looked up at him. He brought his gun down to my cheek and smirked. I grinned back and finally spoke.
"Who are you?" I said in a low tone, ju...
I slumped down in my seat behind my desk, placing my hand over my head as I did so. I rubbed my temple a bit, trying to soothe my pounding headache. I turned my attention toward the door when I heard a knock.
"Come in," I answered, still staring at the door.
"Hey, so-"
Johnny stopped and gave me a look, rolling his eyes as he looked away.
"If looks could kill..." He mumbled.
"What do you need?" I asked, slightly annoyed.
"Let's go get dinner together," He proposed with a peppy grin on his face.
I glanced up at him before looking back down at the papers in front of me.
"Is this another one of your trick ass double dates-"
"No!" He exclaimed, laughing as he did so. "That was a one time thing. This time, however, it'll just be us and a few of the guys."
I looked up at him, lifting my brow.
"Sounds fine," I answered, looking back down. "Send me the restaurant address, I should be down in a bit."
"Will do," He nodded before exiting my office.

9:45PM
Finally, now I can go eat-
I stopped in my tracks as I exited the company building, my eyes landing on a figure not far from me. I watched as the person slowly paced back and forth in a calmed manner. I walked a couple steps closer, trying to get a better look.
Why does it feel as though I know them...?
Once I got closer, I finally realized why I felt this way. I felt myself freeze and my eyes go wide as the figure in front of me finally made eye contact with me. I couldn't force myself to move, nor could I find the ability to speak... at least until they did.
"Hey Handsome, miss me?"
