I would be lost without you,
Yet I'm still lost,
Even at your side.

We're all fighting something,
A demon that's trying to take us.
We aren't desperate yet,
Though some us have been.

We're missing somewhere,
But we're held together,
All waiting to be found,
Standing in our safe circle.

Who knows,
Maybe we'll forever stay like this,
Lost amongst a forest of our demons,
Or maybe we'll be found,
Pulled out from the thorns surrounding us.

I'm lost in the comfort of you,
And the silence of loneliness.
We're all lost together,
But at least we're trying to stay close.

If anything,
I'm thankful I haven't gotten entirely desperate,
I have to thank you for that,
Without all of you,
I'd be worse.

I'm proud,
We haven't hindered each other,
Perhaps helped with progress,
In holding ourselves together.

I'm safe in the arms of you,
The friends who are closer,
Than I dare let my family be.

You're all here,
And we know we'll save ourselves.
Perhaps building a cabin,
In our forest of demons.
We'll befriend them,
Rather than hurt them,
To hurt ourselves.

Without all of you,
I know I'd be lost.
Without the safety of your smiles,
I'd be falling.
Without the warmth of your arms,
I'd be cold and suffering.

Without what you give me,
I could have lines on my skin.
Without all of this,
Perhaps the demons could take me.
