Take on the role of the warrior,
To be the one who is strong,
The one with the shoulders you can cry on.I've always wanted to be the fighter,
That half of me,
That just wants to see you hold life,
And grip on it just that much tighter. You don't see me cry,
It's what I've always tried to hide.
Pouring out feelings,

So freeing. If you've seen me cry,
I'm sorry that you had to see that.
It's hard to play the role of the warrior,
But it's a role I want to have,
So that you know someone is always here.
