I bet you can hear it,
The little thoughts racing in my head,
Of all the the different ways,
We could spend our time together.
They are so loud,
All of the daydreams,
Hiding within my head.

How I want to hold your hand,
Hug you,
Love you.
I can't change your parents,
I can't call you mine,
Even though you are.
I mustn't tell anyone,
How much I love you.

I pray for the day we can walk around,
Heads up high,
Fingers intertwined,
Filling the surrounding air with pride.
I want to kiss you before a year passes,
I want to hold your hand,
I want to go on adventures with you.
You'll be my partner,
Until the day we part,
And, even then,
I'll love you still.

Ah, there they go,
My little daydreams,
Running wild once more.
They're trying to plan outings,
Ways to spend our time,
With fun plans and absolute silliness.
Even though,
The happiest place we could be,
Is wrapped in each others arms.
