Kendrick's POV



The Past two weeks appeared to be going by slower than usual . I mean I was back in the city that never sleeps , yet time was moving at an excruciating , painfully slow paste . It amounted to the same feeling you got when someone scratched the chalkboard with their nails or the sound of chalk or pencil Lead on paper . The Days seem to be extremely short , and the Nights Painfully long , Mainly because my place of residence was still Cameron and Ashleys place . Awkward Couldnt even began to describe the vibe in the house since The night I made that Stupid advance towards Cameron . Since that night he's been walking around chip on his shoulder , Cautiously avoiding me , keeping out conversation and interaction to a minimum . I wasnt sure if Ashley picked up on it , she would be a fool if she didnt , I mean for the first part we were kinda inseparable , like Best friends , and now he barely speaks or looks my way . Which totally confused the Hell out of me , I mean where did so much of his anger come from ? I mean I understand that maybe my advance was out of the blue and a tad bit Disrespectful towards Ashley in her own home . But I really didnt think it would hit him that hard , Which is why I have been walking around with a chip on my shoulder . I Mean talk about Contradicting yourself , Flying off the handle at me for kissing you , yet your making out with a Starving model while your at work . Who's disrespecting Ashley Now ? I wanted so bad to talk to him about but it seemed like every time I remotely looked at him like I wanted to have a conversation with him , he bolted the other way Leaving all the unspoken tension in the room for yet another night . I didnt know how much longer I could take the stress , I seriously needed to get this out so I can Move on and Do something else , But first I really needed to know If we still had a chance at all .


I Sat there on the couch with a Bag of Lays potato Chips with Hot sauce watching Re Runs of Melrose Place . When Ashley walked into the House .


Ashley: Oh You Scared me

Kendrick: My Bad Girl

Ashley: No I Just Expected no One to be here

Kendrick: Oh if you need me to leave , I can get lost for a couple of hours

Ashley: Lol , No Silly . I Just thought you would be at your friends Fashion Show

Kendrick: Fashion Show ? OH MY GOD !

Ashley: You Didnt Forget Did You ?

Kendrick: Oh My God She's Going to Kill Me If Im Late


I Quickly Jumped off the couch and Ran into the Bathroom , Took a Quick Hoe Bath and Pulled out my suitcase Found something Fashion Forward and Quickly Put it on , and It hit Me A Taxi Would take forever to get here and make it there . I Had no Choice but to ask Ashley .

Kendrick: Hey are you Going some where

Ashley: Yea Im Actually heading to Fitting . Why ?

Kendrick: Well I Kinda Need a Lift

Ashely: Oh no Problem , Im going that way anyway


I Put my shoes on Checked my phone and saw I had Missed alerts From Ant . I Jumped in the Car and Once I finally calmed down , I looked over and saw Ashley looking back and forth at me . She looked at me with those Puppy dog eyes , You Know the Ones when someone's about to ask you " hey can I ask you something , are you gay ? " Oh Boy I thought to myself .

Ashley: Can I ask you Something ?

Kendrick: Sure Why Not

Ashley: You And Cam , is everything cool ?

Kendrick: yea yea were Fine , why would you say that

Ashley: I Dont know , it just seems like there's some tension between you two . You dont really talk anymore

Kendrick: Noooo Were Fine , Im just in a Head space right Now . I mean Hellooooooooooo Im about to miss my best friend's Fashion Show Lol

Ashley: Were Here Now so Your Good

Ashley: Hey , Can you do me a favor ?

Ashley: Can you Take a picture of Him for me , Here's my camera

I took Ashley's Camera and Quickly made my way into the Fashion show . I Keep steady pass the Photogs and Camera's and Found my seat Next to Ant .


Ant: There you are , Ive Been Calling you for an Hour straight

Kendrick: I Know , sorry

Ant: She Really Thought you werent You coming .

Kendrick: I wouldnt Miss this for the World

As im talking Ant Leans in to me and starts Sniffing like a Hound dog , I mean literally took a nose full of Me .

Kendrick: What are you doing ?

Ant: You Smell Like you took a w***e Bath

Ant: Oh my God You Did , You Did take a W***e bath , and You are F***king Him Arent you

Ant: Believe me I Know the feeling , and I also Know how it feels to try and win someone back , who's already moved on . All Im saying is Dont get your hopes up , and dont expect really much of nothing .

Kendrick: Whatever , the shows about to start . Shhhh

The Show started and One by One , Piece after piece floated down the Runway . Every single iteam of clothing was Perfection , I wanted one of everything including some of the womens article , I mean it was just that Dope . I mean it wasnt High Fashion , Or Couture but It was Fashion From head to Toe . Words couldnt explain How excited I was for my sister , just seeing her Glow as she walked down the Runway with her Kids in tow and Her Beautiful masterpieces Following . It was just good to see She got it right .

After Tiara Made her Speech , We all Posed for a Couple of pictures and The Night was Coming to An End . I Noticed that Cameron Didnt stick around long after he walked the Runway . I Decided to use the bathroom before Leaving . When I entered the bathroom I was meet with A Loud Screaming Voice , Somebody was going the F***k off . He was Going On and On about How Upset he Was .

Boy: Im So Done With you . No . Your a Lier and thats been proving In More ways than One . Are you Kidding me ? Thats your Excuse . All I asked was for you to be here for me Tonight I just wanted you to see me in my natural habitat . How many times have I supported you Huh Even when There was nothing really to support . As the person started Coming out the stal , I Quickly tried to act like I wasnt Paying attention as I went to wash my hands . And To My surprise the Person in the stale was Non other Than Yohan . He looked up at me and smirked I Rolled my eyes and turned around and Grabbed some Napkins to Dry my hands . I Didnt really care for him so I Didnt bother to ask was he ok . As I turned to Walk off He Called my Name .

Yohan: I mean I know Im a B***h , Well the B***h . But Im likeable Right ?

Kendrick: to tell you the Truth No . Your Annoying and Loud and You dont know when to shut up ..

He throws his Paper towel in the Trash and walks out the Bathroom . I Dont know If He Just Read me or Not but Dare I say It I Kinda Like this Kid . I mean he did call me Old but 19 is far away from 23 . After I left the Event I couldnt help but think about what Yohan said , I changed Cameron's View of thinking and he Owed me . But he also Said that I stomped on his heart and toyed with it . If I wasnt confused on saying something to Cameron At first I Am Now . But Something about what Yohan Said made me think that Cameron still Loved me just as I Did He , he just didnt know how to allow himself to open up to me again . I Just had to prove to him that , Leaving him was the biggest mistake of my life and I was going to make sure he knew he could trust me again .



As I Pulled up to the House , I Paid the Taxi and got out . As I was headed up the stairs I noticed smoke . As I got closer I could See Cameron sitting on the steps with a Blunt in his hand . I cautiously walked up to him and stood there . I wasnt sure if I even Wanted to talk to him , I wasnt sure if I wanted the answer to my question . But It was Now or never If we werent getting back together I needed to know so that I could finally close the book to us .

Kendrick: Hey

Cameron: Sup

Kendrick: Can I sit

Cameron: If you Want to

Kendrick: Soooo you were good up there tonight

Cameron: i was just walking No Big Deal

Kendrick; How long are you going to do that ? Be mad at me

Kendrick: Then why are you giving me the silent treatment ?

Cameron: *takes a deep Breath* Here we go

I Pushed Past Cameron and Grabbed my bags . He Placed them By the Door and Stood there staring straight at the wall . I Stood next to him facing the opposite direction . I Didnt want to turn around , I Didnt want my last memory of him to be Hatred , I Loved that Kid with all my heart , But It Was Painfully to adjust to Us never being an Item much less friends Now . A tear Rolled down my eyes as I placed my bags into the Back of the Taxi , He closed the Trunk Down and Walked into the house . I Know everybody always says your First heartbreak feels like your heart is actually being ripped into two , They were right .
