Reconciliation

Ant's POV


Despite the bitter chain of events that plagued our inner circle , we still managed to pull it together and support Dewayne at his game . Even tho some bad blood still flowed through our Clique , I had a strong feeling that nothing would transpire from this trip . I mean after all we were on Vacation in the fabulous Los Angles , and Not to mention Kendrick was a No show for the trip . I think that was for the better anyway , He and I havent even mad it to ok enough spaces to even talk about what went down , and word of mouth He and Cameron are No longer a Couple , so im sure he wouldnt be in a Good mood anyway .


I sat there Putting my shoes on , Preparing to go out for Lunch and maybe shop a little before Heading to the Game , I watched Rj walk back and Forth in my Perihelia vision . He slammed his phone on the Dresser .

Ant: Still no answer ?

Rj: Nope . Straight to Voicemail

Ant: Well Im sure he's Ok . He's a smart Kid Rj

Rj: Hardly

Ant: he has street smarts , Im sure he's living with a Friend

RJ: Yea , But Knowing the Company he Keeps . that cant be good

Ant: Yea

RJ: This is all My Fault , I should have handled the situation better . Like an Adult .

Ant: I Mean its Not one Hundred Percent your fault

RJ: Technically It is , How was I suppose to teach him how to Grow up and not make stupid decisions , if the first Line of Response is me Flipping out and laying hands on him .

Ant: Come on Dont do that to yourself , Its not fair to you to beat yourself up

Rj: I Should have been the Big Brother and Let it Roll off my back .

Ant: But I mean if you think about it , Its Kinda his fault , I mean he pushed and Provoked you . Just think if he hadnt called you f***t , then the situation would have played out totally Different .

RJ: Wow Wow , Wait . First you Defend him and try to let him in the house . And Now all of a Sudden He's Wrong because he Provoked me

Ant: I mean Havent you heard Dont Wake a sleeping bear

RJ; Yea but that doesnt play into this ........ oh Wait .... I see

Rj: Your Not talking about Me and Aaron , Your Conscious is trying to make right of what happened between you and Kendrick

Ant: First off According to Kendrick and Tiara I dont have a Consious , I only think about Anthony . And second He was Wrong

Rj: Ok , If you say so . Are you ready to go

Ant: Yea


I grabbed my things and my Camera , I wanted to make sure I took tons of pictures . I thought we would wait for everybody else in the Hotel Lobby but Rj said that everybody was already at the Restaurant waiting . We got into the car and Headed there . It was this Beautiful outside lounge Spot that was Perfect for the Weather , the waitress lead us out back to our table . Just As We turned the Corner I saw everybody , Jermaine , Tiara , Brittany , Dewayne , Brandon , annnnnnnnd Kendrick . Instantly my appetite was Dismissed , I hesitantly walked to the table and sat down . It was pretty Clear that the tension was thick so Dewayne tried his best to make light conversation .

Dewayne: For some Reason Im Nervous . That never happens

Brandon: Maybe cause for the first time you Invited a Nigga to yo games

Jermaine: Ok I was starting to think you Went Hollywood on us

Rj: Well , We about to go up the Block and check out this Sneaker store

Rj Stood up , Followed by Dewayne , Brandon Jermaine , and Brittany . I Grabbed my camera and stood up . and Rj Put his hand on my shoulder

Rj: Where you going

Ant: Uhhhh to the Sneaker Store

Rj: I was Umm thinking maybe you can Hang back with your Fri .........

RJ: What I thought it would be Nice for you guys to talk

Rj Gave me a Kiss on the Cheek and Looked me in the eyes and told me to Fix it , I shook my head then shrugged my shoulders , If talking to Kendrick would make him Happy I guess that what I had to do . They all walked away leaving us Three at the table . The waiter brought over some Drinks and we all just sat there with our arms folded and shades Pulled down , I had a strong feeling the Shade from the Umbrella wasnt about to be the only shade hitting me .

Tiara: Soooooooooo

Ant: T , Im Sorry . I Know what I did was F***ked up I can Admit that . Im Not trying to hide behind the fact that it was Jermaines decision , Because as your friend I should have threw my hands up and washed them clean of that situation , I was wrong for doing it , and I was wrong for Deceiving you , Talking to you everyday knowing I was partially responsible For your Pain was Hell for me , and Not to mention your wrath , I Know It might have came off as sneaky and Back stabbing but I was Assured that it was for the better of your family , and out of respect for my Cousin I Didnt ask any further , I Should have had respect for you and Our Friendship to not Participate , Sooooooo Im Sorry Boo . Tiara: Of Course I Do , and Since we handing out Apologizes , Im Sorry for the way I treated you , Not hearing your side of the Story , and Just not trusting you as a Friend even tho On the Outside it looked Bad I Should have gave you the Benefit of the doubt and heard you out , like a true Friend .

Ant: Thank you , Because it Really hurt that my Friends of so Long could even fathom that I would Hurt them . And thats my Issue with you too Ken .

I Pointed towards him and He Flipped his head like he was moving hair out his face , He took his glasses off and shook his head with a smirk on his face .

Kendrick: your Problem with me

Ant: Yes my Problem with you , I felt like you Disregarded the many years of our Friendship over something so Simple and Clearly over exaggerated , Hell even RJ Didnt Believe the Pictures .

Kendrick: Let me get this Straight , you think I owe you an Apology ?

Tiara: Dont make this an Argument guys

Kendrick: No I wanna Know why in his Delusional Mind he thinks I owe him an apology .

Ant: Not only did you attack my character , You Insulted me Numerous times , and you wished Divorce on my Marriage .

Ant: Exactly My Point ! When you saw those Picture you should have came to me and asked me to the side , as your Friend I thought I at least deserved that , But No Instead you came into the Room with intent to Embarrass me and Parade the Fact that you thought I Was trying to get at Cam .

Ant: No the F***k it Didnt , It was a Shirtless picture of him facing towards me , In no way shape or Form did it look like we had something going on . I'll tell you what it was it was your Own Guilty Conscious thinking that If Im cheating he's cheating , Your Insecurities Drove you to think that Everybody around you was just as Lowdown as you were

Ant: Fake and Phony Coming From a Guy who wakes up and pretends to be the Creator and Owner of a skin care Line that He Aint Create , Some Old Ass man gave it to him that Nine times outta ten he Probably Banged .

He Put his Shades on and walked away , Good Ridons I thought to Myself , after that I just Needed a Drink and a Strong one at that , I Finished up Lunch with Tiara and Headed to meet up with everybody else . I Would be lying if I said I could care less about Kendrick and I Falling out , But right now things were to heated , the both of us were pointing fingers at the other demanding apologies and neither one wanted to admit fault . It was Sad to see such a Long friendship go down like that but sometimes in Life You out grow People , and you Only wish as you Grow so do your Friends , In this Case Kendrick and I were on Two different Levels and if this was how the Relationship had to end I was Ok with it , Sad , But Ok .



Kendrick's Pov


After Returning to New York , I wasnt even Focusing on Ant's and I Damaged friendship . I had so Much to do for the Up incoming launch of the Hair care System , that I barely had time to do any thinking , The Majority of my day was consumed with Work , Work , and Sleep . In fact I had been so Focused on Work that I Kinda Forgot today was my Birthday . Until I got a Call From Tiara .

Kendrick: Speak

Tiara: Ooop , B***h Dont answer your Phone Like that

Kendrick; Lol , B***h what you want im about to Lay it Down for the Night

Tiara: This Early , I thought you would be working on your 3rd bottle

Tiara: Ummmm B***h your 24th Birthday

Kendrick: Lol , Tiara I Totaly Forgot . I was so Focused on Work It Really Slipped my Mind

Tiara: Awwww Poor baby , If I was in the states I would be there with your favorite Bottle Of Wine

I Hung the Phone up with tiara and Slipped my house shoes on and answered the Door . I wasnt really expecting anybody , In my heart of hearts I kinda wanted it to be Cameron , but since the split we havent really found that balance we need to be friends , although it would have been nice to at least get a Happy Birthday text . I opened the Door and There Stood Amir with his Hands behind his Back .

Kendrick: What are you Doing here , and How do you Know where I live ?

Amir: I Went threw Ants Address book

Kendrick: you Sure he Didnt give it to you , thats more his stlye

Amir: You Guy still Beefing

Kendrick: Nevermind that , Why are you here and why do you have your Hands behind your back . If your here to kill me make it fast

Amir: Lol , Funny . But I brought you something

Amir: Isnt today your Birthday ?

He Pulled a small box from behind his back and opened it , it held a somewhat large Red velvet Cupcake . He stood there and made his eye brow jump , I Rolled my eyes and extended my hand to let him in . I walked into the Kitchen to get a Fork . I walked back towards him and told him he could have a seat just dont get comfortable. I Moved my fork towards the cupcake and he stopped me

Amir: Wait , No yet


He pulled out a single Candle and lite it

Amir: Now

I Laughed at him and Blew the candle out , and Started smashing the Cupcake , I think it might have been the First thing I ate all day .

Amir: What did you Wish For ?

Kendrick: If I tell you then it wont come true

Amir: Nigga , Thats a Old tale , it aint like its a magic genie hiding behind the couch waiting to grant yo wish

Kendrick: So , Its traditional . Dont be a jerk lol

Amir: You just Damn near ate al the Cupcake and didnt ask me if I wanted a bite , but im the Jerk OK

I Picked up the Last piece of Cupcake and held it up for him to get it , But he dipped down and took the cupcake into his mouth along with my fingers , and sucked the icing off . Im Not gone lie or feel bad about it tha s***t felt good and turned me On , just those Big eyes looking at me made me shiver . I Pulled my fingers away and sat there with this Shy look on my face .

Amir: Whats Wrong

I wasnt expecting him to just say something so Straight forward , I Just sat there as I Noticed he wasnt in Funny mode anymore he was serious , he sat up on the couch and scooted over towards me . He was Basically Seducing me with his Eyes His chest was pressed against mines , as he slightly breathed on my face . I Put my head down and he used his face to lift it back up . We walked to the Door and I Gave him a Hug and Thanked him for the Birthday Cupcake , even tho I didnt want to be bothered , He ended up being a great Distraction , I twisted the Door Knob and Opened the Door , To See Cameron Standing there Oh S***T ........
