[14th october 2017]

you walked into a store with ethan's arm thrown over your shoulder. you began picking clothes that you'd want to try on while ethan went to the other section of clothes to look for clothes that you'd like.

"oh, that's cute! good job, babe!" you exclaimed happily when ethan held up a cute grey crop top. he smiled and felt proud that he picked out something you liked. you tried on all the clothes, putting your original clothes back on with the intention of only buying a few of the things you picked out.

"y/n... come out here please." ethan said nervously making you frown.

"what's wrong?" you asked curiously as you walked out of the change rooms, standing next to ethan. you froze when you looked straight ahead, seeing the enormous crowd of people standing outside of the store. when you say enormous, you mean enormous.

"that's what's wrong." ethan said. you scratched the back of your neck when you saw how much they were pushing and shoving each other. you did not want to go through that.

"how did they even know we were-" you stopped yourself when ethan grimaced slightly. "tell me you didn't post a snapchat."

"i didn't think people would actually come!" ethan defended himself making you shake your head in annoyance. it was supposed to be a quiet day for you both.

"there's no security or anything. thank god the worker locked the doors." you said, sending a relieved smile to the female worker who smiled back at you. you made your way to the counter as she began scanning your items.

"we gotta get out there at some point." ethan said with a long sigh. you groaned and leaned your head on his chest. he rubbed the back of your head, leaning down to kiss your head gently. the fans could clearly see the interactions and they went crazy. they began screaming and banging on the glass.

"they your fans or something?" the worker asked making ethan nod and explain that he has a youtube channel and is on mtv.

"sorry for the inconvenience." ethan apologised but the lady shook him off.

"oh it's okay. it's not your fault but you're gonna have to get out there sooner or later because they will break my glass." she said worriedly when the fans began pushing themselves on the glass.

"yep, thank you so much. have a good day." you said kindly to the lady and took your bag off her, clenching it tightly in your hand as you walked to the entrance. you grabbed ethan's hand in the other as you waited for the lady to open the door. the screaming intensified when the fans realised that ethan will be walking through them soon.

"you ready?" ethan mumbled to you, turning his head to look at you.

"guess so." you replied. the worker swung open the door and you and ethan hurriedly walked out, instantly swarmed by fans. you felt suffocated and knew that ethan felt the same, judging by the way that he squeezed your hand tight.

"excuse me. love you guys. we need to get through, please." ethan repeated to multiple fans who shoved their phones into his face or tried hugging him. he tried his best to smile for every photo but he had to push through the crowd.

"nearly there." you said to yourself when you saw the exit for the actual shopping centre. as soon as you and ethan stepped out of the shops, you broke out into a sprint. you both ran to ethan's car, hearing the loud footsteps behind you. their footsteps were so loud that they sounded like a herd of elephants. ethan unlocked the door and you both entered and slammed the doors shut, just as the fans reached the car. he hurriedly locked all the doors.

"oh. my. god." ethan said as he looked around at the large crowd that was forming around his car. "how do we leave? how are we gonna go home? oh my god, i'm gonna die in here. that's it, y/n. we're dying."

"you're such a drama queen." you rolled your eyes, lifting your hand up to open the sunroof. ethan watched you confusedly.

"what are you doing?" he asked but you ignored him, standing on the car seats so that your upper body was revealed to the fans. the fans started screaming and taking photos.

"guys, we love you but we need to get home!" you screamed to the crowd but their cheering was drowning out your voice. ethan saw your frustration and climbed up behind you, resting a hand on your lower back.

"come on guys." the sight of ethan sent the fans over the edge and they went crazier. "shh! everyone, quiet!"

the crowd went silent and waited for ethan to continue speaking.

"please let us go home safely and we want you guys to go home safely." ethan pleaded, some of the fans nodding and turning to discuss with each other.

"on one condition!" someone yelled so you looked through the crowd curiously.

"what's the condition?" you asked and saw the fans give each other similar smiles.

"kiss! kiss! kiss!" they began chanting making your eyes widen. you blushed and turned around so you were face to face with your boyfriend. you've never kissed in public, on camera or in any occasion that didn't involve you two. you wanted to keep that part of your relationship to yourself. if a photo of you two kissing surfaced, you wouldn't be too angry about it- depending on how it surfaced.

"we don't have to." ethan chuckled making you roll your eyes and smile up at him. the chanting seemed to grow louder.

"they won't leave us alone." you said with a hint of sass to your voice before smirking at ethan. "let's put on a show, baby."

with that, you grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him close to you. his lips naturally found yours and moved in sync. the fans didn't expect you to actually kiss but did not complain, taking hundreds of photos and videos. you pulled away from ethan, not letting go of his shirt and facing the crowd.

"now can we go home?"
