as you hugged ethan and moved on to hug grayson, you felt tears pricking at your eyes. you squeezed him a little bit tighter, feeling his grip tightening as well. he always hugged tighter and longer, just in case a fan just needs a hug. but that's not what made you emotional. what made you emotional is that these boys are going to forget about you. they're going to move on with their life. this day won't mean as much to them as it does to you.

"why are you crying?" grayson chuckled as he pulled away from the hug, his twin brother coming to stand next to him. you wiped away your tears and sniffled, sending them a sad smile.

"i'll remember this day for the rest of my life but you both will forget about this as soon as you walk out those doors." you said, seeing their expressions changing instantly. their smiles disappeared as they sent you a sympathetic look. "thank you both for everything."

"wait.." you faintly heard them call out but you just walked out the doors, more tears streaming down your face.

this day is the day you met your idols but for them it's the day they met just another fan.
