you were an actress on 13 reasons why and played hannah baket. you were currently on set with your boyfriend and were waiting for the director to tell you to start the scene. it was the rape scene with bryce. when you read the script, you were so heartbroken and so was justin prentice (a/n- actor who plays bryce walker).

"y/n, we need you on now." the director said to you and walked back to where you'd be filming. you pecked grayson's cheek softly and walked in front of the cameras. grayson sat behind the cameras with a tense look on his face. he knew what scene you had to shoot and didn't want you to be alone after which is why he was with you. you got into the hot tub and waited for the directors to yell action. "and action!"

the scene began. gray bit his lip when justin moved closer to you. as soon as the rape began, grayson closed his eyes and attempted to leave but stopped himself. between takes, you'd look at grayson who'd smile sadly at you and give you a thumbs up. justin would also apologise before and after every take.

after many takes, you were finally done with it. you stepped out of the tub and shivered. grayson ran over with a towel and threw it over you. he held you tightly as you walked back to your dressing room. you had tears in your eyes as you thought back to the scene you just shot.

"don't cry babe. it's over now." grayson cooed, helping you to change into warmer clothes. you nodded and sniffled lightly.

"it's just... thinking about that scene and having to act it out... it really-" you started but was cut off.

"i know." gray said quietly, pulling you into a proper hug once you were in warm clothes. you sighed as you held him even tighter, thankful that you had such a supportive boyfriend.
