in your eyes, ethan was the most amazing guy you've ever known. he was kind, caring, attractive, funny and just awesome. you've had the biggest crush on him for the longest time. the only problem was that you didn't know whether he saw you in that way. your best friend, paige, was one of the only people who knew that you liked ethan. grayson was another. paige swore not to tell anyone and you basically trusted her with your life.

"y/n, come over please! it won't be fun without you." grayson pleaded over the phone. the twins were having a party at their apartment. less of a party and more of a get-together. gray has been begging you to come but you weren't too sure. you did still like ethan but have been trying to get over him. you haven't been successful so far but you're trying. "ethan will be there."

"all the more reason not to go." you replied with a disinterested voice. you heard him sigh and the other line went quiet making you guilty almost instantly. "okay, you know what. Fine. i'll come but only for you."

"thank you! be here at 6." grayson reminded you so you agreed and hung up, checking the time. 5:22 pm. you went to your wardrobe and pulled out a pair of ripped black jeans. you paired it with a red spaghetti strapped crop top and white nikes. you tied up your usually curly hair into a bun, leaving two strands to lay around your face. you put gold hoop earrings in and applied a minimal amount of makeup.

5:49 pm. you hurried to your car, grabbing your phone on your way. when you reached their apartment, grayson welcomed you in with a big hug. he whispered that ethan was in the kitchen making you roll your eyes but nod anyways. paige walked into the room and pulled you into a large hug. you didn't even know she was coming here tonight. you both talked for what seemed like hours. time passed and you still didn't see ethan and you didn't mind.

"spin the bottle! gather round!" one of grayson's friends yelled making a few people back out with their partners and sit in the corner. the only people left in the circle was you, grayson, paige and a few random guys and girls. just when the bottle was about to be spun, ethan jogged into the room. you sighed deeply, looking at him stone faced.

"wait for me." he joked and joined the circle. so far, you've only had to kiss a few of the twins' friends and Paige.

"my turn." paige said loudly and spun the bottle. everyone watched anxiously to see who it would land on and your heart just about stopped when it landed on ethan. your eyes widened and you quickly looked at paige to see whether she would actually go through with it. she turned to you and looked down at her lap before standing to go over to ethan. the boys- except ethan and grayson- cheered loudly and chanted 'kiss' repeatedly.

"i'm sorry." she whispered to you before walking over to the guy you've always wanted to kiss.

paige shyly sat in front of ethan, putting her hair behind her ear. you didn't know why but ethan looked at you sadly before focusing on the girl in front of him. your mouth dropped open when she kissed him gently, him responding after being slightly hesitant. you made eye contact with Grayson who sent you a sad smile, giving his brother a disapproving look.

sighing heavily, you tried to block out the sounds of their sloppy kissing. you could feel your blood boiling when they continued to kiss so you angrily slammed your fist on the wooden floor. paige quickly backed away from ethan who looked at you with widened eyes. everyone did.
