"please tell me what you're doing, y/n." gray pleaded as he stumbled through the hallways while you walked behind him, your hands acting as a blindfold. you shushed him and sat him on the couch.

"are you ready for your surprise?" you said excitedly, pressing record on your phone. you wanted to capture his reaction when you gave him the kid cudi concert tickets. he's been dying to see him perform. you knew that even if you went with him, he wouldn't have as much fun without ethan so you bought three tickets.

"yes!" gray groaned impatiently, stretching out his hands so you can give him his surprise. you bit your lip and dropped the three tickets on his lap. he felt around and stuck out his bottom lip as he tried to figure out what it was.

"you can open your eyes, babe." you laughed and gray opened his eyes quickly and looked down at his hands to see what he was holding. hd gasped when he read it and he looked at you quickly.

"are you freaking kidding me?" he yelled and jumped up. he had a huge smile on his face and his cheeks were a tinge of red. you laughed loudly when he started to freak out. "is this legit? y/n, if this is a prank then it's not funny."

"i swear it's not a prank." you said honestly, seeing the corner of grayson's mouth twitch upwards. his heart was beating rapidly and the amount of love he had for you in that particular moment was indescribable.

"but why? it's not my birthday or valentine's day or anything." he asked confusedly making you smile at him.

"i don't know. i wanted to do something nice for you. i appreciate you a lot. you're always there for me and i love you. simple as that." you shrugged, making a surprised noise when gray pulled you flush against his chest.

"god i love you." he muttered and kissed you softly. you smiled into the kiss, almost forgetting about the camera. you knew very well that everything could be heard on your phone so you slowly pulled away from the kiss.

"i got three tickets. me, you and ethan. in the box!" you said happily making gray almost die of happiness.

"box tickets? i'm gonna see cudi from the box." he said dreamily and fell back onto the couch. you giggled and continued to record him. he smiled and continued to fanboy before he stood up suddenly. "oh my gosh, we gotta tell e and get his reaction. let's go, babe!"

with that being said, you both surprised ethan who had a similar, if not happier reaction than grayson. they both thanked you a million times that day and everyday until you guys actually saw cudi perform.
