"y/n... i heard the weirdest rumour." ethan said as he walked into the living room where you sat. he just got back from hanging out with his friends.

"yeah? what is it?" you asked, sitting up and watching ethan as he sat next to you. he looked deep in thought and you wondered what this rumour was.

"well, i don't know if i should believe it or not but apparently you like me. or should i go as far to say that you're in love with me. according to some fans anyway." ethan explained, eyeing you for your response.

"yeah, i've read tweets of fans thinking that you like me." you laughed, shaking off the assumptions. ethan scoffed.

"who even thinks that?" ethan said, outraged with the things the fans come up with.

"right! who came up with that rumour is what i'd like to know."

"and where they're getting these assumptions from." ethan continued, shaking his head.

"true." you finished, the room now growing silent. it was silent for about 10 seconds when you and ethan made eye contact and burst out laughing.

"god, i love us." he muttered, leaning in to kiss your lips. you smiled into the kiss and let him go to his room to change into comfortable clothes. you sighed happily and leaned back into the couch, waiting for your boyfriend to come back.
