"Do you remember the day we met?" Lancelot's words pulled me out of my housework trance as I turned to face him confused.

"Like it was yesterday, why?" I furrowed my eyebrows whilst wiping across the table with a cloth as memories flooded back into my mind.

Flashback

I've lived in Camelot my whole life and I know the prince Arthur better than most of the kingdom. I used to watch him train with the Knights when we were both children and I longed to join them. A female knight was not acceptable in anybody's eyes but yet I still aspired to be one of them. Years had passed before I finally made my wish known to the King but he declined. Ever since then I've been desperately trying to become one of them, for them not to see me just as a women but as a knight.

"Arthur, come on." I pleaded as I trailed along behind him. I was following him throughout the market relentlessly begging him. "You've seen me train, you know what I'm capable of." He groaned, ignoring me as he continued to walk down the market. People were walking around us, too busy in their own lives to be paying attention to us, but somebody was. I could feel his eyes on me before I bumped into him causing me to lose my sight of Arthur.

"I do apologise m'lady." I looked up to see a handsome males face above mine as my eyes scanned his every feature. His brown hair has the slightest curl at the roots and the soft complex that made my fingers itch to run through them and his gorgeous brown orbs matched his hair colour perfectly. His sharp jawline had slight stubble running along it showing contrast to his slightly tanned skin.

"No need, the fault is completely mine."  I could feel a rosy blush creeping onto the apples of my cheeks as he smiled down at me, the gesture causing my knees to weaken.

"And why, if you do not mind me asking, would a beautiful lady such as yourself being walking in such a hurry?" His soft tone was like music to my ears as he continued to talk. "Chasing after a prince?" He jollying laughed but I sighed the small smile on my lips gone.

"Actually yes." His face dropped in to utter devastation before he regained control of his features. His once open face was now built up like a wall as he tried to hide his hurt. "But not in the sense you presume. I want to become a knight." I explained as his eyebrows raised in surprise. I readied myself for the same speech I got daily, how females couldn't possibly fight and how those bloodlust feelings aren't meant for the weaker gender but that is not what I got.

"Well then, by all means chase away." He stepped to the side, grinning at me and I froze completely taken back. I regained my features before grinning happily back at him, moving to step forward. "I hope to see you around." He called and I turned around blushing heavily.

"As do I."

Flashback end

"I remember it so well because it was the third greatest day in my life." He replied as I stopped my work turning to face him with my raised eyebrows.

"Third?" I questioned and he smiled at me, sauntering over to me until his arms were on my waist.

"The second greatest day was when I married you." He whispered nudging his nose with mine gently.

"And the first?" At my words, little footsteps sounded in the room causing both of our heads to turn. Lancelot let go off me walking over to the small girl with my eyes and his hair. He picked her up making her high pitch giggle sound and I smiled. He carried her over to where I was standing as she stretched her arms out towards me. Carefully he handed me her small body before slightly kissing on my neck and whispering into my ear.

"The first, was the day you gave me her."
