It's been one month. It got more and more stressful. We worked harder, more, and longer. Our bedtime got later and later. I always slept on the couch now. Because I often did school work in the evenings according to the schedule. And also because the boys argued all the time. They were tired, stressed and irritated more quickly. They would get along again quickly, but would argue again the next day.

It was the same today. I tried to concentrate on my homework, but it was impossible. Today it was Tae and Jin who argued. For 1 hour.

I went to the bedroom and opened the door. Everyone noticed me except Tae and Jin. They were busy fighting.

Me: Tae? Jin?

They looked at me.

Me: Could you guys stop arguing? You are loud.

Tae: Why are you interfering? You're annoying. Go out!

I was shocked by his answer. Jin wanted to scold him for it. But I spoke first. I spoke in a very calm voice.

Me: I know I shouldn't interfere, but I have homework to do. I find it difficult to concentrate when someone is arguing here every evening. I also thought that you are old enough to resolve a dispute properly. Why do you have to scream like that? You can also be understood so well while speaking. There is no need to shout. Besides, there are people living below and above us. I know that you are stressed out. But it doesn't excuses your behavior.

Me: And Taehyung. I'm sorry that I'm so annoying. I am just this little 12 year old girl. It's definitely not easy with me. I know that already. And I'm truly sorry for that. But I definitely would never allow myself to be suppressed and pushed around by someone else than me. I am just there. Stop treating me like a problem!

I put special emphasis on the last sentence. Then I went out of the room. And to my surprise, it was quiet for the rest of the evening.

After doing my homework I went to sleep.
