Of all the times your neighbors want you to babysit, it's right before an apocalypse is rumored to happen. Since they had to go on "one more vacation before their possible deaths." You and your boyfriend, Taehyung, live together so he jumped at this opportunity wholeheartedly. You on the other hand, wasn't the happiest of campers when it came to kids. You sucked it up because Taehyung loves children.

"If anything, this is practice."

"Practice?"

"Yea, for when we have our own kid."

You glared at him with daggers in your eyes. He was still optimistic even though we could literally die tomorrow. Despite your evil glare, he was unbothered and was very focused on the baby. As much as you hated to admit it, but that baby was cute. But only because Tae being with him makes it cute.

Taehyung asked you to hold the baby while he went to look for the instructions from the parents. As you held the baby, he stared up at you. Feeling awkward and not knowing what to do, you booped his nose. The baby let out a giggle from your action. You couldn't help but let a small smile creep onto your face.

"According to the paper, it's time to feed the baby. They gave us everything we need to make the solution."

"I'll go make it."

You gave the baby back to Taehyung and you went into the kitchen to make the solution. While stirring, you looked into the living room to see Tae rocking the baby in his arms. A smile started to form on your face at the sight. Seeing him this happy with a baby makes you wonder if he'll be even happier if you two had your own bundle of joy. But of course, you wouldn't let up that easily. You didn't want to let Taehyung know that you've been convinced, not just yet.

After you fed the solution to the baby, you let him rest on your lap. He stared up at you with large, curious eyes and you couldn't help but melt in adoration. Taehyung was smiling at the sight, not wanting the moment to end. He kept saying that one day, it'll be your own baby instead of the neighbors'. You pictured your future child in that moment and you couldn't believe that this baby won you over.

Well, let's just hope it really isn't the end of the world though. If you're still alive, maybe, just maybe, you'll try for a baby of your own.
