A/N: I suppose I need to throw a trigger warning here. Also, this is the longest one shot yet. I really did like writing this.

"Aziraphale!"
Aziraphale woke up in Crowley's arms, not that the demon could tell. The angel was hurting. A painful sensation covered Aziraphale's body. His ears were ringing. Something smelt terrible. He didn't remember what had happened to him. It would take him hours to realize that he was locked away in a cell in Heaven.
Crowley knew exactly what had happened.
Being kidnapped by angels and dragged into Heaven is terrible as it is. Being beaten by angels is worse. Everything that comes after is worse than anything Hell has in Crowley's opinion. In Hell they would never have done what they did to poor Aziraphale. Surprisingly demons have morals. What happened to Aziraphale was not morally right.
"Aziraphale, come on, please! I can't loose you!"
Crowley looked down at Aziraphale's discolored, bruised and bloodied face. Gasoline covered Aziraphale's wings. His eyes were almost completely swollen shut. Crowley was battered too, but not to the level Aziraphale was.
He couldn't loose his angel. Not now, not ever.
Crowley sobbed, "I need you. Aziraphale I need you. Please wake up. Give me a sign. For god- sata- for fuck's sake I need you. I love you."
It was at that point when the arch angel, Gabriel walked up to the cell and laughed, "Are you having fun in there with your joke of an angel?"
Crowley growled, "Some day I'm going to kill you with Hell Fire. I'm going to make it hurt real bad. Do you hear me?"
Gabriel responded, "I'd love to see you try. Now please, shut your mouth and stop crying already. We need to see your boyfriend anyways. Just for a second. We'll bring him right back."
Crowley stood up, Aziraphale still in his arms.
"You're not doing anything with him. Not anymore."
Gabriel shook his head and sighed, "You know, I can do stuff to you. I can break your will, Raphael."
"It's Anthony J. Crowley now."
"You questioned the great plan. You just had to. You were the angel of healing. Don't you wish that you could heal your angel up now? You're soft, like him. Also a major screw up, just like him."
Crowley's eyes started to water again. He shouted, "You can talk bad about me! I'm a demon! You on the other hand will not talk bad about Aziraphale."
"Then hand him over!"
It was at this point when Aziraphale whispered, "Crowley?"
Not that Crowley could hear him.
Gabriel had unlocked the cell.
"Know what, we'll let you go if you hand him over."
"No, I will never leave him."
Gabriel looked Crowley in the eye and said, "We'll see about that," before mumbling words that would exercise a demon. Unfortunately for Gabriel he did not know how to exorcise a demon. Crowley only felt a slight urge to do some unnecessary jogging.
Crowley, is a demon, no doubt about it. He is supposed to do the wrong thing, the over all wrong thing. There's nothing stopping him from sprinkling a little goodness in.
It was a shock to Gabirel when Crowley shouted, "Fine you can have him! Just don't hurt him anymore, please!"
Crowley handed Aziraphale over to Gabriel. If Aziraphale could have moved, he would have been furious that he was being carried by Gabriel. Unfortunately, he could only make soft noises that nobody could hear.
Crowley always comes up with a plan A and a plan B. That's how he works. In this particular situation, his plan A was to turn into a snake and get out of there. If that was successful, he'd slither out, go bite Gabriel and run off with Aziraphale.
Unfortunately, plan A didn't work. Crowley was too big of a snake to squeeze through the bars.
Plan B worked.
Sometimes it just takes a bit of imagination. Maybe perhaps, Gabriel forgot to lock the cell again. Maybe perhaps, Gabriel forgot to tie his shoe. Maybe perhaps, Crowley knew what he was doing when he ran through the hallways of Heaven.
Crowley generally knew what he was doing. He's a very optimistic kind of person, and likes to believe that whatever he's doing he's doing it right.
Crowley was optimistic about finding Aziraphale. That happened, and was quite the good thing. Gabriel had Aziraphale strapped down to an operation table. It shattered Crowley's heart to see Aziraphale laying there like that.
Crowley didn't hesitate to shove Gabriel into the wall. Yes, shoving people into plum into walls was his thing, and this was the over all mean thing he did to protect Aziraphale. Aziraphale is a completely different story. Crowley is much softer with Aziraphale. Against the wall is much better for Aziraphale.
Crowley didn't plan on shoving Aziraphale against anything any time soon. He was afraid to touch the tattered angel as it was.
Crowley worked quickly and efficiently, removing the angel from the table. It didn't take long for Crowley to find his way out of Heaven. It was the angels that chased him that caused him issues.
Once he got to the door though, all of them had been left far behind.
It was shortly after that when Crowley had Aziraphale all wrapped up in blankets, on his bed. There wasn't many other places to put an injured angel.
It was around dinner time when Crowley had assembled all the stuff to clean Aziraphale's wounds with. By this point, Aziraphale was quite awake. To see the angel awake made Crowley feel a whole lot better.
Crowley wasn't afraid to fix up Aziraphale. He used to be an angel, and fixing other angels was a specialty of his. It made him feel incredibly bad to know that he would be disobeying his side, if his side even cared. He liked the feeling of being bad.
Aziraphale would have liked to say something about how nice Crowley was being, but talking seemed like a nightmare. All Aziraphale had the strength to do was hold Crowley's hand.
It felt like hours before Crowley was finished. Cleaning gasoline out of feathers was more difficult than Crowley thought it would be. Another thing that was harder than thought was the fact that Crowley had to tell Aziraphale a big thing.
It was very simple in Crowley's mind, but when lying on a bed, next to a beaten angel, some things were not that easy to explain. Upon closer inspection Crowley discovered that Aziraphale was asleep. This was a good thing. The angel needed rest. Crowley felt like some rest too.
The next morning when Aziraphale's woke up, Crowley wasn't there. This was slightly alarming to Aziraphale. Crowley was just under the bed. One would ask, what is a demon doing under the bed. Children are told there's monsters under their beds, and Crowley is a demon. This wasn't why he was there. He was in his snake form, and for Crowley, laying there was quite pleasant. Sleep was quite nice.
What a shame that it didn't last long because Aziraphale accidentally stepped on his tail when getting out of bed.
Crowley needed to wake up anyways. His angel was awake, and very confused. It didn't take all that long for Crowley to turn back into his human form.
Aziraphale was too dizzy to walk, so Crowley insisted that he needed to lay down. After that Crowley got Aziraphale tea, and made it more sweet than the angel preferred it. This was a supposed evil act of Crowley.
Another evil act of Crowley was sitting on the bed and cuddling with the angel.
"Crowley, what happened?" Aziraphale asked. Crowley didn't know how to explain. He knew what he had to say though.
"They kidnapped us, and did all sorts of things. They did all kinds of experiments on us. I hate to tell you, but you're pregnant."
Aziraphale's bruised eyes lit up in shock. It took him a moment to process the information.
"I'm what?" he asked. Crowley sighed, "Not my fault but it's out child. Heaven is a weird place now. Not like I remember it."
Aziraphale leaned his head against Crowley's chest. He muttered, "You were Raphael?"
Crowley sighed, "Yes, but I don't want to talk about it. I'm not the same anymore. I thought you were unconscious."
Aziraphale said, "I know you're not the same. You're a demon. You saved me."
Crowley responded, "It's nothing. It's just what I do for you, angel."
"Crowley, promise me that you'll always be here."
"I'd never want to leave. I guess now we'll have a family, but I've always had you."
There were plenty of moments like that throughout the term of the pregnancy. Aziraphale found himself relaxed by back massages and comfort foods. Crowley was there with him through all of it.
It was precisely nine months later when Aziraphale ended up in labor. Unfortunately, Crowley was out baby shopping. Leaving Aziraphale alone did worry Crowley. He always knew when something was wrong with his angel, he just didn't always know what. It took him about thirty minutes to finish shopping and get home. It was quite the shocker for him to find Aziraphale on the floor in labor.
Most people would think Crowley would freak out. He's the kind of person that the younger generation describes as "extra", which is quite true. Crowley was not extra in this situation though. He decided that he needed to be relaxed, so Aziraphale would be relaxed.
Aziraphale was anything but relaxed.
It was a grueling two hours of anything, but a human birth.
It felt like the world's biggest relief when the babies were finally born. Aziraphale and Crowley had expected twins. What they hadn't expected was that there can be a pure mix of angel and demon. Both babies had fuzzy grey wings and blue snake eyes. Their eyes stayed blue. The babies also were ginger. This was something Crowley was particularly proud of.
At the end of the day Aziraphale and Crowley laid on the bed, their children bundled, clean and being held. It was perfect.
