Because I'm basic like the rest of the fandom I'm going to say the Crowley is Raphael theory, but also knowing that Good Omens did throw in Metatron and Sandalphalon (I can't spell his name right no matter how hard I try) I'm also going to say that Crowley totally could have been the Archangel Ariel because of the plant thing.
