~Months Later~
It’s been months later since that Disneyland incident and it was now was three days before Christmas. Joey was still living with me, my dad was still touring, and now I’m at work with Lauren. Life was pretty much perfect with Joey so far.
“so have you figured out what you’re getting Sid for Christmas yet?” I asked Lauren while I typed on my computer. Lauren stopped typing and took a long sigh,
“no I can’t figure out anything! I mean he has everything already!” she yelled.
“dude I know what you fucking mean! what the fuck are you supposed to give a rockstar for Christmas?!” I yelled back and then we cracked up.
“good afternoon girls” Brandon said walking up to us with another guy.
“hey Brandon” Lauren and I said at the same time.
“whats up?” Lauren asked with a smile.
“well I’m here to introduce to you your new photographer” he said as the other guy waved. He had short messy brown hair and had almost a grungy look. Lauren’s smile faded.
“aw what happened to Ryan?” I asked
“you two got him all fed up and quit” Brandon said giving us a look and then started laughing.
“you two are just insane” he said
“why thank you! We do try hard” I said getting up to take bow.
“good well your next assignment after your Christmas break is to interview Alexi Laiho from--”
“Children of Bodom?!” both Lauren and I yelled
“yeah, now I know its not such a big story, but--”
“psh! Brandon please!” I yelled
“yeah this is fucking huge! Thank you so much!” Lauren yelled before hugging him.
“alright then, well Michael here will cover the photos and well feel free to get to know each other and Lauren please let go” he said quickly.
“right thanks boss!” Lauren said letting him go.
“I’ll see you girls and guy later” he said with a laugh and walked away.
“hi I’m October and this is Lauren, just so you know, you better not be an arrogant ass like our last photographer because we’re pretty crazy” I said shaking the guys hand with a smile.
“oh don’t worry about it, I’m an easy going guy and uh you can call me Mike” he replied with a wink and then shook Lauren’s hand while Lauren just stared at him in silence.
“is that Joey fucking Jordison in the office?! Fuck I love my job” we heard Brandon say and then Lauren and I started laughing.
“Brandons such a dork, hey babe” Joey said walking up to me and then hugged me.
“hey!” I said eagerly hugging him back and then kissed his lips.
“something smells good!” I said letting him go.
“yeah I brought us some Mexican” he replied revealing a bag. I gasped.
“you are the best!” I squealed.
“wheres Sid?” Lauren asked with a pout.
“he was right behind me” Joey said looking around confused.
“I’m right here!” Sid said walking up to us from the other side.
“Siiiiiid!” Lauren squealed and ran up to hug him.
“unlike Joey, I’m gonna take you out for lunch!” Sid said with a smile.
“yes!” Lauren yelled eagerly
“well see ya later!” Lauren told us and then dragged Sid outside.
“um alright then?” I said waving goodbye to her.
“you’re Joey Jordison! I am a huge Mushroomhead fan” Michael said shaking Joey’s hand while I hit my head with my palm.
“um thanks?” Joey said unsure of what to say.
“oh wait I mean Slipknot! I’m a huge Slipknot fan, fuck the other band” Michael corrected himself.
“um…thanks?” Joey said with an unsure laugh.
“Michael's our new photographer, Ryan quit on us cuz we’re too crazy” I said
“he just couldn’t handle you” Joey replied with a smirk and then wrapped his arms around me.
“so shall we eat?” I asked
“of course!”
“do we eat here ooor?”
“I was thinking maybe eating outside at one of those picnic tables?”
“sure!”
“alright then lets go! It was nice meeting you Michael” Joey told him while I nodded,
“I’ll see you later dude” I told him, he gave me a smile and nodded while Joey and I made our way outside and sat at the picnic tables.
“so when did that guy start working here?” Joey asked sitting across from me.
“Michael? Just today, why?” I asked grabbing the food out from the bag.
“just wondering”
“whhyyy?”
“I don’t know, I get a bad vibe from him I guess”
“is it because he thought you were in Mushroomhead?” I asked with amusement.
“no its not that” he said with a laugh.
“well then relax” I told him with a smile.
“fine then” he said sticking his tongue out at me. I giggled and started eating.
“sooo if Santa Clause would of magically appeared right now and asked you what you wanted for Christmas, what would you ask for?” I asked with a smile.
“hmmm well I would ask for you”
“but I’m already here?”
“holy shit! Santa is good!” he said with a gasp and then I started cracking up.
“Joey! I’m being serious!”
“me too October!” he yelled and then I threw a piece of food at him.
“bitch!” he yelled throwing a piece of food back at me.
“cunt!” I yelled back, throwing another piece at him.
“I love you” he said spitting some food at me.
“I love you too” I said taking a sip of my drink and spitting it out at him and then he started cracking up.
“I can’t wait till you meet my family, they’re gonna love you” he said with a sigh.
“oooh I could already tell I’m gonna love them!” I said clapping my hands eagerly.
“come here” he said getting up a bit and leaning over the table. I smiled and quickly got up and leaned over the table and kissed him. Then we heard someone clear their throat, so we pulled away and saw that it was Michael.
“sorry, but I hope you don’t mind if I join ya?” he said holding out a McDonalds paper bag.
“oh um go ahead” I said as Joey and I sat back down.
“thanks” Michael said sitting next to me while Joey stared at him blankly for a moment.
“so I was thinking, what kind of camera should I use for the interview and where should we meet?” Michael asked me.
“er well I’m not sure yet, we still have Christmas to get through” I said unsure of what to say and he nodded.
“so um whens your break over again? I keep forgetting” Joey asked me with a chuckle.
“hmm about an hour more” I said looking at my watch.
“well why don’t I take you out for some ice cream?” he asked
“sure!” I said happily
“well I’ll see you later dude” I told Michael before getting up and leaving with Joey.
“see what I mean?” Joey whispered to me as we walked away.
“he’s just weird” I said with a laugh. He gave me a stern look which made me laugh even more.
"aww what's wrong? Just fucking ignore him Hun" I said giving him a hug.
"believe me I won't" he said giving me a kiss.
"oh whatever, just don't do anything stupid" I said as we made it to my car.
"what the fuck is that supposed to mean?" he said getting into the driver's seat.
"I’m just saying don't do something stupid like murdering the guy!" I said getting in the passenger’s seat.
"October, I'm not fucking stupid!"
"well stop acting like it!"
"I'm not! You're the one being stupid!"
"fuck you!"
"ok I fucking will!" he yelled back and then quickly launched himself on me and kissed me. I pulled away to gasp for some air and tried pushing him away.
"Fuck! Joey I love you and you're a fucking good kisser, but fuck I need to breathe!" I said with a laugh while he kissed my neck.
"no you don't" he said with a laugh while he started sucking on my neck.
"yes I do now stop!" I said with a laugh.
“mmm how about no” he said starting to tickle my neck making me scream.
“Joey! Stop! STOOP!” I laughed and kept screaming at the same time and then we heard a big thump on the roof of the car and someone yelling making us quickly get up.
“what the fuck” Joey said looking around and then saw who it was.
“who the fuck is it?” I asked worried.
“get away from her!” I heard the guy growl.
“what the fucking hell” Joey said pissed and then quickly got off of me and got out of the car.
“hey, what the fuck is your problem?!” Joey growled and then I quickly got up and looked through the window and saw it was Michael.
“you were hurting her and I told you to get away from her!” he growled back at Joey.
“oh no” I said quickly getting out of the car.
“no he wasn’t hurting me Michael we were just playing around” I told him.
“are you sure?”
“yeah just go. Please” I said giving him a look. He nodded and then walked away. I looked at Joey and he looked back at me and rolled his eyes and got back inside the car, then I followed shortly. He started the car and then sped out of the parking lot. We stayed quiet the whole drive until we made it to the ice cream parlor. He turned the ignition off and then stayed quiet for another moment.
“are you ok?” I asked getting uncomfortable with the silence. He sighed and then looked at me.
“yeah…I’m ok. I’m sorry. I just need to cool off a bit.” he said giving me a small smile.
“well good thing we’re getting ice cream then” I said smiling.
“come here” he said leaning closer to me and then hugged me.
“I love you too” I said with a laugh and hugged him back.
“good” he said letting me go and then we both got out of the car and made our way inside the parlor. Afterwards, he drove me back to work and we were both back to our happy selves again.
“I’m gonna walk you to your desk” he said as I got out of the car.
“babe, you really don’t have to. I’ll be ok” I said as he got out of the car.
“but I fucking want to!” he whined
“fine” I said with a laugh and then started walking.
“do you want me to pick you up?” he asked putting on his sunglasses.
“actually not today, Lauren and I are gonna go shopping”
“well do you want Sid and I to go with you two or at least give you a ride?”
“naaah we’ll go walking”
“in those heels?”
“what? These heels were made for walking!” I said walking in circles around him.
“sure they are, well I‘ll leave your car here and hitch a ride back with Sid” he said with a laugh.
“whatever you say darling!” I said and then we kept walking. Once we made it to my desk, we said our goodbyes and then kissed once more and then he left. I sighed happily and sat down and then Lauren came skipping in.
“hey there, someone looks happy. How was lunch?” I asked with a smirk.
“oh you know same ol same ol!” she replied happily.
“how about yours?”
“well at first it was great, but then it started getting weird” I said thinking about it.
“weird? What do you mean weird?” she asked with a laugh. I looked around to make sure Michael wasn’t around and then motioned her to come closer.
“well you know Michael right?”
“yeah?”
“well Joey and I were making out and then out of nowhere he comes and sits with us so then Joey and I politely leave and then we’re in the car messing around and he comes banging on my car and yelling shit, thinking that Joey was hurting me and then Joey gets pissed and lashes out at him and so then I had to get out to tell Michael to leave.”
“whaaat the fuuuck?”
“yeah I dunno, I don’t want to be mean here, but I think he’s just weird.”
“yeah I’ve been getting bad vibes about him and its making me even miss Ryan now” she said and then we both started cracking up.
“he gives me the creeps, I don’t wanna talk about it anymore, its probably just nothing and we’re being the weirdos” I said with a sigh.
“ooor who knows? Maybe he really is some weirdo psychopath?” she said with a laugh while I just smiled.
“well lets change the fucking subject, did you tell Joey we’re going shopping?” she asked.
“yup. We‘re fucking good” I said turning my computer on and starting to get back to work.
Hours later, we were finally out of work and on our way to the outdoor mall hoping to find something for the guys.
“So did Sid give in and tell you what he wanted for Christmas?” I asked with a smirk.
“oh yeah he actually asked for hot sex” Lauren said shaking her head.
“boys will be boys” I said with a laugh. We finally made it to the entrance and then stopped to look around and decide which store to go to first.
“fuuuck this is so fucking stressful! I don’t know what to fucking get him! I’m just gonna sit here and die” Lauren yelled and then sat on the ground gaining weird looks from people.
“I wonder if they’re thinking the same thing” I said laughing.
“well at least we’re easier cuz we’re girls, but guys are fucking hard”
“well…what does Sid like?”
“oh my god. He used to talk about how much he wanted this one watch” she said quickly getting up and then ran away.
“wait what” I said confused and then quickly ran after her. She stopped at a window and stared at it for a while.
“so I’m guessing you found out what to get him huh?” I said with a laugh and then I turned to look at the next store and then smiled.
“um I’ll be right back” I said as I slowly walked to the store and then made my way in and walked up to the guy.
“Why do we always run in to each other? Are you stalking me?” I asked with a laugh. Satyr quickly turned around to face me and his eyes grew.
“oh! Well hey there! I didn’t know you were here first of all and second it’s a small fucking world--now get over here!” he said before hugging me tightly.
“nice hair cut” I commented with a laugh.
“ah, why thank you darling” he said with a smile while he smoothed back his hair.
“so where’s the small one, Joey?” he asked with a smirk.
“well he’s back at my place while I’m here Christmas shopping with Lauren”
“ah well that seems like fun”
“not really I don’t fucking know what to get Joey. I mean what the fuck do you get a rockstar who already has every fucking thing? But anyways, what are you doing here?”
“shopping for leather. What can I say? I like the American stores. Maybe I can help you with your situation?”
“really? Well that’ll help a lot, thanks!”
“don’t mention it. Now I know I speak for every man, mostly metalers, when I say men love leather. So buy him leather”
“leather?” I asked with a laugh
“yes, I think he’ll love a leather jacket. Plus this store does great custom leather jackets”
“you’re fucking right! Oh my god thanks Satyr!” I squealed before hugging him.
“like I said, don’t mention it” he said patting my back.
“now you think you can help me pick it out, since you know more about leather?” I asked hoping he’d say yes.
“sure, I’d love to” he replied with a smile.
“fucking yay! I owe you one!” I replied happily and hugged him again.
“oh really? Alright I guess I’ll have to think up of something for you to do then” he said with an evil smile.
After he finished helping me with the jacket, the sales woman gave us a receipt along with some other papers and told me the jacket would be ready the day before Joey and I left to Iowa. We left and then as soon as we got out Lauren ran up to us.
“oh hey there! I just got out of the fucking store, some fucking bitch tried buying the watch before I did and I had to fight her to get it, and believe me. It was not pretty.” she said
“oh well I can see that” I said laughing at her messed up hair.
“oh hey uh..” Lauren said looking at Satyr,
“Satyr” he replied with a laugh
“right! Sorry I forget cuz its so hard to pronounce” she said giving him a hug.
“well then call me by my real name, Sigurd”
“hmmm…I’ll stick to Satyr” she said with a laugh,
“so did you find something for Joey?” she asked looking at me.
“yes! Satyr helped me get him a custom jacket and it’ll be ready the day after tomorrow!” I said happily
“ooooh well that sounds cool, why didn’t you fucking help me when I needed you Satyr?” Lauren yelled and we cracked up. So then we said our goodbyes to Satyr, then went to my car and drove back to my place. We saw Lauren’s car in the driveway which meant Sid was there with Joey.
“they’re plotting something” Lauren said as we got out of the car and walked up to the door.
“like what? The worse they could do is puke on us” I said with a laugh as I unlocked the door and opened it only to be sprayed with silly string. Lauren and I looked at the guys shocked while they laughed their asses off.
“ok I was wrong--get them!” I yelled and then we both chased them around the house, but they kept beating us since we were wearing heels. So Lauren quickly took her shoes off and ran while she tried attacking them with her heels while I stopped to catch my breath and think of something worse to do to them. Then it hit me! I ran to the kitchen and opened the fridge and grabbed the two whipped cream bottles that were in there and quickly ran to where the guys were. Then I saw Lauren was being dragged by Joey while she threw her shoe at Sid and then I quickly took this chance and ran up to them and sprayed both Sid and Joey with the whipped cream. Joey let go of Lauren and Lauren quickly ran to my side cracking up at both of them and then I gave her one of the bottles.
“the tables have turned Sid, get over here!” Lauren yelled and then quickly jumped on Sid and started attacking him with the whipped cream while he screamed for his life. Meanwhile I walked up to a scared Joey who was now on the floor, trying to crawl away.
“come here Joey” I said with an evil grin.
“nuh uh” he said trying to get away and then I quickly got on top of him and sprayed the whipped cream on his face.
“you fucking bitch!” he yelled and then managed to take the whipped cream away from me making me scream and try to get away, but he quickly grabbed my leg and dragged me closer to him while I screamed for help from Lauren.
“now its my turn” he said getting on top of me.
“ooooh you’re gonna rape me now?” I asked with a laugh and then he rubbed the whipped cream from his face on me.
“nnnooooooo! You fucking asshole!” I yelled and then sat back up and stuck his tongue on me. I pouted and then licked some off from my lips.
“well at least I taste good” I said with a smile.
“oh reeeally? I’ll be the fucking judge of that” he said before quickly leaning back down and kissing me. Then he sat up and thought about it.
“ok you’re right, you do taste good!” he said with a smirk and then quickly leaned back down and kissed me again.
“eeeeewwwww seriously guys? Get a room!” Sid yelled while Joey and I ignored him and continued making out.
“well this is October’s house, c’mon lets go back to my place!” Lauren said dragging him away while I gave Lauren a thumbs up, which made her laugh. Once I heard the door close, I quickly pulled away and smiled,
“well now that they’re gone, lets go upstairs” I said with a smirk.
“alright” he said quickly getting up and then ran upstairs.
“yeah thanks for not helping!” I yelled still lying on the floor. I got up and then slowly made my way upstairs. When I got to the door I heard Satyricon’s “King” playing. I smiled and opened the door to find Joey lying on my bed while looking up at the ceiling.
“ya know, while Lauren and I were shopping, we bumped into Satyr” I said lying next to him.
“seriously? That guy is seriously everywhere.” he said with a chuckle.
“I can’t wait till we go to Iowa, I’m actually excited” I said snuggling up to him.
“me fucking too” he said kissing my head.
