When I woke up, it only felt like ten minutes of sleep, but I had to go pee so I sat up and looked at the time and it was 7 a.m. shit! wasn’t I supposed to be getting back to the Mayhem Festival?
“Joey” I said shaking him
“just leave the cookies in the oven for ten more minutes dummy” he moaned
“Joey!” I said shaking him violently
“earthquake!” he yelled sitting up and then looked at me with a smile,
“oh hey! It wasn’t a dream! You are with me!” he said happily and then I couldn’t help, but laugh.
“god I missed your laugh” he said giving me a small kiss on the lips,
“so whats up?” he asked with a smile. I giggled a bit and then I remembered why I was so worried!
“oh! We’re supposed to be getting back to Mayhem!” I squealed
“oh shit! What city?!” he asked
“Phoenix Arizona”
“what?!”
“wait you want me to repeat it again?”
“no I get it…we can’t skip it and then go tomorrow?”
“tomorrows New Mexico! And no I can’t skip today! Its my job and I promised Lauren I would be there!”
“maaaaaaaaan! Fine get ready cuz we leave in 15 minutes! Its gonna be a loooong drive” he said with a sigh.
“yay! Thank you!” I squealed as I hugged him and hen kissed his head and quickly ran to the bathroom. My bag was there so I quickly did my business and then got changed into some clean clothes and then I did my hair and makeup. When I made sure I looked okay as usual, I gathered all my stuff and made my way out of the bathroom where Joey was already ready.
“I feel dirty wearing the same clothes again, but then again I always do that” he said with a laugh
“yeah well you still look hot” I said with a smile
“oh and you look even hotter” he said walking up to me and then pulled me closer to him so that our noses touched.
“so are we gonna go or what?” I asked with a smirk
“I was hoping we’d stay in bed” he said returning the smirk
“lets go” I said pulling away, but then he pulled me back and kissed me and then let go,
“alright then” he said making me laugh as we grabbed our stuff and then walked out of the room and to the elevator.
“how long do you think it takes to get from here to Phoenix?” I asked Joey
“well it should take about five hours” he replied
“five hours?! So we’ll get there like one in the afternoon?! I’m supposed to be there by eleven at least!” I said in disbelief trying to calm down
“I can’t help, but think that this is my fault” Joey said sounding guilty.
“no its not” I said with a small laugh as I got closer to him and hugged him and then the elevator doors opened.
“yeah it is” he said a bit bummed out as I let go of him and then we got out of the elevator. He went up to the front desk to check out of the hotel while I stayed behind and watched him for a bit, and then I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Lauren’s number and waited.
“hello?” she answered
“Lauren its October!” I replied
“October! Where the fuck are you?! Please tell me you’re almost here”
“well not exactly”
“what do you mean not exactly?”
“well I’m still in California”
“what?!”
“yeah and its gonna take us like five more hours to get there”
“what?! October you promiiiiissssed you’ll be here!”
“yeah I know I know! But you can't cover for me? I feel bad cuz Joey thinks its his fault since we woke up late”
“did you guys fuck?”
“no”
“you sure?”
“yes! So can you pleeeease cover for me? I wanna spend some time with him and I’ve been fuckin swamped with work so I’d like to get a break for once ya know pleeeeeeeease?”
“fine! You win. But this is cuz you also covered for me for me when I left with Sid to tour”
“yay!”
“but get here tomorrow! I‘m scared over here and Ryan is being a pain in the ass with his complaining and your dad is worried about you”
“don’t worry, I’ll get there early tomorrow and tell my dad I’ll be ok and that Joeys with me”
“alright then take care”
“take care bye!” I said happily as I hung up and I noticed Joey just finished checking out at the front desk and looked at me. I smiled at him and walked up to him.
“why are you so happy? Aren’t you worried about being late?” he asked confused as we made our way outside,
“nope” I replied
“why?”
“because”
“because why?”
“I just called Lauren and she said she’d cover for me so I have the whole day off which means I’m yours for the day” I said with a smirk and he gave me a huge smile.
“seriously?” he asked eagerly
“yup!” I said with a smile as we made it to the car.
“well what do you wanna do?” he asked before we got into the car.
“I don’t know” I said leaning back on he car
“well pick any place you wanna go, and I’ll take you” he said making me smile.
“anywhere?” I asked
“yup!” he replied with a grin
“lets go to Knotts Berry Farm” I said with a cheesy grin
“ok!” he said running to the other side of the car while I was speechless. I didn’t think he’d agree. I got in the car and looked at Joey,
“are you serious?” I asked
“yeah! I haven’t been there in a while”
“you do know we have to get to New Mexico by tomorrow morning right?”
“well we’ll just stay at Knotts till night and then we’ll make a road trip to New Mexico it shouldn’t take too long”
“how long would it take?”
“er about twelve hours”
“twelve?!…ok! What the hell” I said with a smile making him laugh. He started the car and then we started making the trip to Knotts Berry Farm.
“aren’t you worried that someone will recognize you and then ambush you or something?” I asked with a laugh as I turned the radio on and started scanning through the stations.
“nah! Aren’t you worried that you’ll get recognized and then they attack you?” he asked with amusement
“why would they do that?” I asked with a laugh
“you are Marilyn Manson’s daughter, you’re bound to get recognized by his fans”
“nah!” I said with a laugh as I stopped scanning through the radio and “Black Sunshine” by White Zombie started playing. Joey looked at me and smiled and then started nodding his head to the music. I returned the smile and nodded to the music as well, and then pretty soon we were both headbanging along. When the song finished we started laughing and “Children of the Grave” by Black Sabbath started playing and I started headbanging to the music.
“I love you! Like seriously, I am so in love with you right now that its not even funny!” he said making me laugh. I stopped headbanging and looked at Joey,
“I love you too” I said with a smile. He looked at me and then back at the road and then back at me,
“really?” he asked as he looked back at the road,
“yeah really” I said with a giggle. Then I took my seat belt off and then got closer to him,
“and I mean it this time” I told him almost in a whisper before kissing his neck, and then sat back down.
“yay!” he squealed and then we both laughed. After a while, we were talking and laughing and just really catching up and then “Personal Jesus” by Manson started playing.
“I love this song!” I said with a laugh
“of course you do, its your dad” Joey said making me laugh and then I started dancing in my seat.
“weirdo” he said with a chuckle
“and you love it!” I said
“of course!” he said making me laugh, and then I heard my phone ring,
“oh! that’s my fuckin phone!” I said looking around for it and then noticed it was in my bag at the backseat of the car,
“son of a bitch!” I yelled
“what?”
“my fucking phones in the backseat”
“so get it”
“I don’t feel like it”
“then don’t answer it”
“but I have to, what if its someone important?”
“then get it”
“but I don’t wanna I’m fuckin lazy”
“then what are your other options?”
“right I guess I’ll get it” I said as I did the lazy way of getting my phone, by bending over to get my bag which was on the seat and then digging through my bag which was hard to reach.
Joeys POV:
It was hard driving since I got distracted by October who had half of her body in the backseat and I couldn’t keep myself from staring at her…well bottom half of her body. But then I noticed some assholes next us in the other car staring at October as well and giving her perverted looks, while October didn’t notice them. I quickly flipped them off and then they laughed and kept giving October insulting looks. That’s it! Those motherfuckers are dead! And with that I quickly drove closer to them and then crash into them and made both cars stop.
Octobers POV:
While I was getting my phone, I felt the car bump into something and then I squealed and fell.
“what the fuck Joey?” I said a little scared as the car stopped and my phone stopped ringing. Damn I missed the call!
“motherfuckers” I heard Joey murmur as he quickly got out of the car. Oh boy. I quickly sat up and looked out the window and saw Joey by a car that I’m sure he crashed into and then tried pulling one of them out of the window. I quickly got out of the car and went up to Joey.
“Joey! What the fuck are you doing?” I asked while he quickly punched one of the guys on the face,
“this motherfucking asshole was giving you perverted looks while you were looking for your phone!” Joey growled as he tried to grab the other guy,
“what?!” I asked confused and he punched the other guy on the face and I just let him do whatever he wanted since he looked really pissed.
“Joey lets go before the cops come!” I told him grabbing his arm and trying to pull him away.
“stupid dicks!” Joey yelled as he spat on both of the guys and then we quickly went in the car and Joey drove away. It got really silent until my phone rang. I closed my eyes and sighed, and then Joey pulled over to the side of the freeway,
“go get it” he told me and then I quickly did what I was told and got out of the car and then went to the backseat and grabbed my bag. I quickly found my phone and left my bag there and got out of the car and answered it,
“hello?” I answered as I closed the back door.
“hey sweetie” I heard my dad’s voice
“hey dad” I said with a small smile
“I called you a few moments ago, but you didn’t answer”
“oh I couldn’t find my phone, sorry about that”
“its alright hun”
“whats up?”
“so whats this I hear about you not coming till tomorrow?”
“well Joey and I woke up late so there was no way we were gonna make it today”
“alright then just be careful”
“I will dad”
“are you ok?”
“yeah?”
“you sure? You don’t sound like it”
“oh we just ran into some trouble nothing huge”
“trouble? What kind of trouble?”
“um…I’m not really sure”
“alright then”
“well I have to go now so I’ll call you when I get there ok?”
“ok then”
“love you”
“I love you too sweetie”
“bye” I said hanging up and then I got back in the front seat and looked at Joey,
“it was my dad” I told him.
“sorry about what happened earlier, I was just a bit pissed that those assholes were giving you disgusting looks. It seriously pisses me off, no one fucks with me or my girl” he said making me smile.
“its alright babe” I told him
“besides I also got a bit distracted by you” he said with a smirk. I smiled and then got closer to him and sat on his lap and then kissed him, then pretty soon we were making out like crazy. Then when I felt that it was going too far, I quickly pulled away and looked into his eyes,
“hi” he said with a smile
“hi” I said with a giggle and then sat back on my seat
“alright then keep driving” I told him with a laugh
“fiiine” he said starting the car
“so how much longer till we get to Knotts?” I asked
“uuuh well ten more minutes!” he replied as he drove out of the freeway.
“sweet! Do you think we can stop by a restaurant? I’m starving”
“yeah sure” he said giving me smile and then I quickly got closer to him and kissed his cheek again and then sat back down.
