Octobers POV:
I was walking around the venue watching the crew members from different bands start setting everything up for tomorrows big show. Then I heard a familiar voice behind me so I quickly turned to see my boss, Brandon.
“Brandon?” I said amused
“oh hey! I’ve been looking all over for you!” he said happily as he walked up to me with another guy.
“yeah well I’m here” I said with a laugh
“and thank god! Ok this is gonna be your camera guy, his name is Ryan, Ryan this is gonna be your boss for the tour her names October” Brandon said introducing us to each other. He had a clean cut hair cut and had no piercings or tattoos and was wearing shorts and a Slipknot shirt which made me think about Joey all of a sudden.
“hi” I said with a smile and a wave.
“hey!” he said cheerfully.
“alright well I have to go now, I have important meetings and shit, so you two better cover everything for every single tour date! And I wanna see tons of fucking interviews--got it!” Brandon told us.
“you got it dude!” I said with a laugh
“don’t worry, I’ll record everything” Ryan said with a chuckle
“good!…now have fun and get to work! Oh and Lauren will be coming back to work with you so you don’t have to do this alone” he said as he ran off I nodded as I watched him leave and waved good bye.
“that man needs a vacation” I said more to myself, but Ryan laughed.
“alright so whats first?” Ryan asked
“weeeeell” I started as I looked in my folder
“first we’ve got an interview with Cannibal Corpse!” I said eagerly
“Cannibal Corpse?” he asked nervously
“yeah? Whats wrong?”
“well I heard they’re kinda…well I don’t know how to say it…crazy?”
“almost all heavy metal bands are crazy silly”
“yeah, but I mean scary crazy”
“so is my dad, is that a problem?”
“no, but I mean crazier than your dad, like I heard they’re rude and stuff”
“dude c’mon! don’t be such a pussy!” I said with a laugh as I led him to where the second stage area was.
Joeys POV:
We were at the airport waiting for our plane and we noticed that it was raining outside.
“oh shit!” Wednesday yelled
“what?!” I asked concerned
“its raining outside!”
“and?”
“I forgot my “fuck” umbrella at my house”
“so? Its probably gonna be really hot in California anyways”
“yes, but not here! I think I can make one right here”
“okaaay?” I said confused as he quickly got up and ran to a gift shop while I waited for him at the seats outside. In minutes he came running out with a plastic bag and then sat next to me.
“good news! They had everything I needed in that shit hole!” he said proudly
“ok then?” I said with a chuckle. He pulled out a black umbrella and a roll of duct tape out and threw the bag on the ground and then took the umbrella out from the plastic thingy. He opened it and then started taking the wrapper off of the duct tape and started cutting off strips of tape.
“you know that opening an umbrella is bad luck right?” I asked amused
“yeah, but then again, when do we have good luck anyways?” he said
“good point” I said with a laugh. He started taping the strips of tape onto the top of the umbrella which ended up being letters and then soon it said “fuck”.
“there!” he said happily
“that’s all?” I said amused
“yeah this will help a lot!” he said proudly
“flight 15 is now boarding” the lady said into the intercom.
“shit that’s us!” I said as we both quickly got up and made our way to the plane with Wednesday walking around with his umbrella.
“sir, I’m afraid I need you to close your umbrella once you get in the plane” one of the employees told Wednesday as he took our plane tickets.
“fuck don’t worry about that!” Wednesday yelled while also earning glares from people around us.
“okaaay!” I said as I dragged Wednesday into the plane.
“I wonder how long its gonna take to get to California” Wednesday said curiously
“longer than it is from Iowa” I told him
“goddamn! I don’t know how I’m gonna survive this Joey! I hate airplanes!” he whined
“relax” I said amused as we went in the plane and Wednesday closed his umbrella and then we took our seats.
Octobers POV:
“thank you guys! I bet Brandon's gonna love this interview!” I said happily as I hugged each member from Cannibal Corpse.
“its no problem Miss. Manson” George told me with a smile
“yeah and tell your dad we said hi!” Alex said with a cheesy smile
“yeah I will” I said with a laugh as Ryan and I made our way out of their bus.
“well that wasn’t so bad” Ryan said with a chuckle
“no duh!” I said with a laugh
“I thought they were gonna be bad and scary, but it shocked me that they were actually really nice”
“no duh Ryan!” I said smacking him on the head making him yell in pain.
“alright who's next?” Ryan asked
“Well its getting late, since we got a little too overwhelmed with Cannibal Corpse soooo one more interview! And then we‘ll interview the rest tomorrow” I said
“one more? Ok who?”
“we’ll do Trivium!”
“ok!” he said eagerly as we made our way to their bus.
Joeys POV:
“fuck I don’t think this is gonna end well” Wednesday whined as he started rubbing his face anxiously.
“dude you’ve been on airplanes maaaany times before c’mon” I said amused
“yeah well…fuck you”
“no thank you” I said looking out at the window.
“oh! Um excuse me miss, do you have any whiskey or vodka in here?” Wednesday asked a stewardess making me turn around to see what was going on.
“um yes would you like some?” she asked
“no I'd like the whole bottle please!”
“the whole bottle? Sir I don’t thi--” she started
“look do this for me and…” Wednesday started as he pulled $50 from his jacket pocket.
“I’ll see what I can do” she said taking the money and Wednesday looked back at me satisfied. I just shook my head.
“what? It’s the only thing that will calm me” he said
“and its also the only thing that made you and Yvonne have that little falling out remember?” I said
“fuck…you’re right…I have to stop…now I feel bad” he said as the stewardess came back with a bottle of Jack Daniels that hasn’t been opened. She handed it to Wednesday and then walked away. Wednesday looked back at me with a sorry look on his face.
“wanna share?” he asked I rolled my eyes and smiled.
“fiiiiine…I’m sure a couple of sips won’t hurt” I said with a chuckle as Wednesday quickly opened the bottle.
Octobers POV:
“that was fun!” I said happily as we both walked out of the bus and it was already night.
“whoa it got dark real fast! How long were we in there for?” I asked surprised
“lets just say a looooooooong ass time” Ryan said with a laugh
“well I guess I’ll see you tomorrow morning and we’ll start interviewing fans that are outside in line and then we’ll start interviewing the crew members and then get to the bands” I said
“no prob!” he said with a nod
“hey by the way, how are you following us on tour?” I asked
“oh I have a van outside its got all my stuff to edit interviews and everything don’t worry about that”
“ok then, well see you tomorrow”
“right” he said as we both walked our separate ways. I made my way back to the bus and when I was inside I only saw Alice and Andy in the living room area, and Alice was standing up with her canvas, painting a portrait of Andy who was sitting on the couch.
“hey wheres everyone?” I asked
“oh they’re all outside at the main stage with your dad and the band getting everything fixed for tomorrow” Alice answered
“cool…wait aren’t you supposed to be there Andy?” I asked
“not anymore, sound check is over” Andy said as I nodded and walked up to Alice to see how it was coming out.
“oh its looking really good!” I told her
“thanks hun!” she said happily
“this makes me feel awkward” Andy said
“don’t worry about it you look fine” I said with a laugh
“yeah, thanks for letting me do this honey!” Alice said happily as she quickly walked up to Andy and gave him a kiss.
“yeah anytime babe” he said kissing her back. I smiled seeing how happy they were and then I sighed.
“well um I’m just gonna leave you two alone and go look for my dad” I said with a laugh as they both nodded and I made my way out of the bus.
Joeys POV:
By the time we got out of the airplane we were already pretty drunk. We walked around the airport and then managed to rent a car. A guy led us outside to the car and gave us the key, and I thought this guy must have been stupid for letting us rent the car since were already pretty drunk.
“lets do this!” Wednesday yelled as he drank the last sip of Jack Daniels and threw the bottle across the parking lot and it broke into millions of pieces.
“Wednesday! Aren't we too drunk?” I asked
“naaaaah!” he yelled as we laughed and then went inside the car and started driving to October’s house. Wednesday was driving while I turned the radio on and “Rock N’ Roll All Night” by KISS started playing and both Wednesday and I gasped in excitement and put the volume all the way up and we started singing, well yelling the lyrics out loud.
“I wanna rock and roll all night and party everyday!” we both yelled happily over and over again until it finished and then “Detroit Rock City” started playing next and we kept singing along, but then I stopped when I started feeling sick and then I quickly rolled the window down and started puking out the window while Wednesday kept driving and singing along. At this point I didn’t think he knew I was puking in the first place.
“Twelve o'clock, I gotta rock There's a truck ahead, lights starin' at my eyes Oh my God, no time to turn! I got to laugh 'cause I know I'm gonna die! Why?” Wednesday sang and then he screamed in horror.
“what?!” I yelled as I stopped puking and looked up at him scared about what he was screaming at,
“are we gonna crash on a truck?!” I asked scared
“no you were puking!” he yelled with a sigh of relief noticing that I stopped puking.
“Wednesday I feel sick” I said
“I can see that--but I feel great!” Wednesday yelled happily
“um aren’t you supposed to keep your eyes on the road?”
“naaaaah!” he yelled
“I shouldn’t have drank too much, October's not gonna take me serious” I said as I put my head back on the seat and then I totally blacked out. All I remember was hearing Wednesday scream, the car moving too much, something painful hurting me, and then silence.
Octobers POV:
After hanging out with my dad and the rest, I got tired so I decided to go back to the bus. When I got there Alice was still painting and Andy kept talking about lord knows what.
“ok there! I’m finished!” Alice interrupted him
“really?” Andy asked
“yeah! What do you think?” she asked as Andy got up to look and I got closer to look as well. [The painting on the slifdeshow, is in fact the real painting by Alice!]
“whoa! Alice! It looks awesome!” Andy yelled in happily
“yeah it looks really really great!” I said
“awww thanks guys!” she said happily.
“I think we should have a drink to celebrate!” I said happily as I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of Jack Daniels and three cups with ice and poured some in each cup and then ran back to Andy and Alice and gave them each their cup.
“you really wanna get drunk don’t ya?” Andy asked looking in the cup surprised
“well since we ain’t gonna be taking any showers any time soon in this tour, I have to get drunk so that I can forget about it” I said with a laugh
“I’ll drink to that!” Alice said as she started drinking hers and then I downed mine and Andy drank his as well.
Joeys POV:
I felt something poking my head which made me wake up and then I noticed it was a bird so I quickly sat up and shook my head and the bird flew away.
“what the fuck” I said to myself as I noticed that we had crashed into a tree and Wednesday was asleep and snoring his ass off. Then I noticed we were in a neighborhood and people were coming out of their houses and looking at us weird.
“aw shit. Wednesday wake the fuck up!” I said shaking Wednesday awake
“nooo I want that chicken more!” he murmured
“Wednesday!” I yelled as I slapped his face which immediately made him wake up.
“what the fuck! I was having a good dream Joey why the fuck would you wake me up?!” he asked annoyed
“Wednesday you almost fucking killed us last night!”
“oh I did this? Nah I didn’t do this” he said with a laugh
“just get us the fuck out of here! There's people looking at us and its starting to creep me the fuck out” I told him
“alright Mr. grumpy!” he said as he started the car and it actually worked and then he drove away.
“what time is it?” I asked
“nine in the morning” he replied looking at his watch
“fuck! we had too much to drink last night. My head hurts” I whined
“relax we’re almost there” he said with a chuckle and with that I noticed we were already there.
“almost?” I said with a chuckle as he parked the car.
“I hope she's not busy!” I said happily as we both quickly got out of the car and ran to the door and started knocking on the door like there was no tomorrow until someone answered it and turned out to be Ben and Amii.
“hey what are you two doing here?” Amii asked with a laugh
“yeah you guys look fucked up” Ben said with amusement
“oh you have no idea” Wednesday said with a sigh
“is October here?!” I asked
“and Yvonne?!” Wednesday yelled
“well they’re not exactly here” Ben said with a laugh
“what?!” both Wednesday and I yelled in unison which made Amii and Ben laugh.
“please tell me you’re lying” Wednesday said panicking
“nope they’re gone” Amii said with a laugh
“well do you know when they’re coming back?” I asked calmly
“probably somewhere around next month for sure” she replied
“don’t lie to us Amii!” Wednesday yelled
“I’m serious!” Amii yelled back
“yeah they went on a tour with Manson” Ben said
“a tour?” I asked
“yeah they’re at the Mayhem Festival thingy with Slayer and some bands and Manson's headlining” Amii explained
“and we’re gonna go see them later on too” Ben said
“fuck…whats the first stop?” I asked
Octobers POV:
“waaaaake uuuup!” Yvonne yelled as she shook me violently till I was finally awake.
“fuuuuuuck! I’m up! I’m up!” I yelled sitting up
“umm your camera guy is waiting for you outside and you have to go to work” she told me
“right…work” I said rubbing my eyes
“get ready girl! Oh and guess who's also outside waiting?!”
“ummmm”
“Lauren and Sid!” she yelled eagerly
“sweet! I’ll be out in a minute!” I said as she nodded and ran out. I quickly got up and went to the bathroom and brushed my hair and my teeth and put lots of deodorant. God I wish I could shower. I ran out of the bathroom and out of the bus and saw Ryan with his camera and Lauren and Sid waiting there with Yvonne.
“Sid! Lauren!” I squealed as I ran up to hug them both.
“I miss you too”Sid said with a laugh
“yeah! Its great to be fucking back and working with my partner!” Lauren said happily
“hell yeah! I need the fucking help since I’ve been fucking swamped with work” I said as we all laughed
Joeys POV:
“ok so how much longer till we get to the venue?” I asked Wednesday as he filled up the gas tank.
“just a few more hours…more if there's traffic” he replied
“gaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh” I groaned
“you guys are cry babies, here” Amii said giving us chips
“thanks” I told her as Ben and her got in the car.
“I hate gas stations” I said as I went inside the car and opened my chips and started eating some.
“alright! Lets fucking do this!” Wednesday yelled as he got in the car and started the engine.
“so Amii…has October talked about me?” I asked
“weeeell nope I haven’t heard her talk about you for a long time” she replied
“aw she probably got over you already” Ben said with a laugh
“shut the fuck up Ben” I said as he stuck his tongue out at me. I started to get nervous, what if she didn’t want me back? Then Wednesday turned on the radio again and KISS’ “Detroit Rock City” started playing again.
“aaaaahhh what are the fucking odds?!” Wednesday said excitedly
“ooooohh no” I said starting to get worried
“what?” both Amii and Ben said in unison.
Octobers POV:
“ok so I’ll see you two girls later, I’m gonna go see what the other guys are doing” Sid said giving Lauren a kiss.
“alright honey!” Lauren said kissing him back
“and I’m gonna check the place out” Yvonne said running off
“well lets do this now” Ryan said as Lauren and I nodded and then started walking.
“so what are we doing first?” Lauren asked
“interviewing the fans outside before they get in here” I said as she nodded and we made our way outside to the fans waiting in line.
Joeys POV:
“we’re here!” Wednesday yelled making me jump.
“ok! Lets go!” I said eagerly
“let me park the goddamn car!” Wednesday yelled
“what time is it?” Amii asked
“its one in the afternoon” Ben answered
“fuck lets go already!” I yelled
“let me find a damn parking space!” Wednesday yelled
“you know what…I’m leaving” I told him
“leaving?!”
“yes!”
“no wait for me motherfucker!”
“no you’re taking too long”
“but I wanna go with you! Wait!”
“noooo!”
“yess!”
“no!”
“then hurry up!”
“well then tell these people to hurry the fuck up then!”
“how am I supposed to do that?! Honk at them!”
“no! that’ll be rude” he yelled as I rolled my eyes and honked the horn for him.
“hey!” Wednesday yelled
“god you guys are worse than a little kid! Both of you get the fuck out of here and Ben will park the fucking car--ok?!” Amii told us
“what?!” both Wednesday and I said shocked
“me?” Ben asked
“yes” Amii said
“Wednesday Joey go!” she yelled as Wednesday and I looked at each other and shrugged. Wednesday stopped the car and we both got out and ran.
Octobers POV:
“ok so fans want to know when's the new album coming out? And whats it called?” I asked Kerry King who Lauren and I were interviewing along with Tom Araya and Ryan was shooting everything.
“well the new album is called "World Painted Blood", and it comes out sometime in November” Kerry said looking at Tom who nodded his head in agreement.
“OCTOBER! OCTOBER!” we heard Yvonne scream like hell as she ran up to us.
“Yvonne what the fuck?” I said confused as we all laughed
“we’re doing an interview here” Ryan said as Yvonne flipped him off and he glared at her.
“whats wrong?” I asked
“its Joey and Wednesday” she said as my eyes grew wide
“w-w-what about them?” I asked trying not to seem nervous
“they’re here” she said with a worried look.
