We sat on a coach in a very big spontaneous hall,the hall was decorated so beautiful with many glittering and scintillating object which makes everywhere sparkle,I was dressed in blue fitted gown which was sprawl oest on the floor like tail, it has a dainty white embroidery on the bust and full sleeve,a white poplin on top which embellished the dress. It fitted me perfectly from the top hugging my curves but not to tight.
My head gear is tied into a tight but beautiful design more than twelve pleats,then I was wearing a blue heals with a silver touches,a gold necklace jewelry set adorned my neck,ear,wrist and index finger. My makeup was done perfectly and flawlessly beautiful by one of the famous MUA in Abuja.
As I looked at my glowing Hand,I remember all the tortures Ammiey made me go through all in the names of gyaran jiki. But now looking at myself I appreciate her effort,my hands and leg were beautify perfectly with a red henna which compliment my fair skin.
I was so nervous as hell,the hall was so full of people,from the ones I know to the one I've never ever meet before,it was so boisterous.
All thanks to my mothers and friends,I will have wanted to have a low-key wedding with just family and friends,but they went ahead to make it a grand big wedding,I hate being the center of attention,all eyes were on me,on us.
I glance at my so called husband now,he is sitting beside me looking so handsome and elegant,dress in a very expensive clothing which complete his look. He carried that aura around him which will make you feel inferior.
He take my hand which is in my lab interwining it with his,this little interaction sent shiver down my spine,when he held mine in his,my heart accelerated,his hand were so soft yet hard.
There is an queerly feelings that makes me feel safe,makes me feel protected, calmed. And I hold it back not want to let go. " Are you nervous" he asked whispering which makes me shuddered because of the sudden voice
"Uhmm" I answered with my throat
"Is it because of me or the crowd" he inquired,I was quiet for a minute before decided to say the truth "both"
"You shouldn't be,it's not good for your health" he said calmly " take a deep breath" he added and I did. I feel relieved, even though I'm always scared of him,I feel Serene whenever I'm with him.
Not long the party started, music was in a full blast,many people dance from family and friends, guest. Games were played between the bridesmaids and groomsmen. It so fun watching how they play. After that the MC asked the newlywed couple to be in the stage.
"I will like to call the bride and the groom to come up the stage for a little game,I like them to play"
I turned to look at ya Nabil he have an untold expression on his face
Nevertheless,he stood up
The crowd cheers louder when he stood up
He offered me his hand,I place my hand on his and stood up. We walked to the stage.
The MC indicate we sit on the already prepared chairs.
"Okay this is how the game goes, the bride and groom would exchange one shoes,in that the each will have one of the bride and one of the groom's shoe,I will ask a question and they will use one's shoe to answer" MC declared
We exchanged as he said
"Are you ready" he asked
"Yes"
"Ok let start I've got questions here for you so, who is nicer" he asked
I pursed for minutes before slowly raising my shoe up smiling,I turned to Nabil raising my shoe too which makes my smile wider
"Who is the first person to say sorry" MC asked
I remember all the time we spend together,all the times he scolded me,times we quarrelled,I'm always the one the to apologize.
I will apologize even if I'm not totally at fault,I will just say it to avoid trouble I was like ' I'm not buying the sorry nor cutting my flesh to give out so take it'
I raised my shoe up and glance at him,find out that he already raised mine,the crowd uproar.
"Who has much pride"
Definitely him,I raised up his instantly which make everyone laughed. He did that too.

With no doubt He,he so much loves kid,he's always around kids playing with them. I raised his and he raised his too

This one question makes the crowd to cheered,All eyes were on us,on me, even ya Nabil is looking at me waiting to see whose shoe I will raise,I was hesitant.
Truth to be told,he's handsome,has a great features which will make any lady fall for his charm, and also I can't underrate my self,I'm beautiful too.
It's selflove to hype your self right?.
However, I raised his at the same time he raised mine too.
The noises and cheers from the audience suddenly turned screams
"Oh what a wonderful couple we got here, the first time they give different answer"
"Who is much more loyal"
I deemed, remembered how he remained single all his life just because we are betrothed that I also know nothing about it but still he remained loyal,so I raised his shoes and he did that too. Mr loyal bhuh
"Aah this couple they really deserve each other, now Who get angry easily" The MC said again
Without any temptation I raised his shoe, glance at him and Find him already looking at me baffled with a smile on his face.
My breath hitched at the sight of him,I found my self lost,fantasizing,that was truly a scene to be captured.
Did I just see a smile on his face,I couldn't tell when Last I saw a smile on that face most importantly that smile was for me.
That smile makes him look more handsome,more charming and attractive.
The smile was so affectionate that will make you smile too,it should be a crime for a man to have that smile,many girls will mistook that and take advantage of it.
He shouldn't smile he have to maintain that cold face so no woman will approach him,that smile must be mine alone,mine!!!.
What is wrong with you Afifah, concentrate.
The sound of pictures been clicking and the noises from the background bring me back from my reverie.
"This couple makes me feel like a third wheel here but I know I'm not alone" The MC said which got everyone cheering "ladies and gentlemen please put your hands together and welcome Nabil and Afifah onto the dance floor for the first time as Mr and Mrs Suleiman" He added cheerful and the guest uproared.
Thank goodness I Know how to dance,I use to practice dance and ballet whenever I get a free time, practicing ballet is a source of comfort to me.
The DJ played 'You are the reason' by Calum Scott ft Leona Lewis, which goes perfectly with wiener walzer dance.
I feel ticklish when ever he touches me,I felt a burning sensation,my face was burnt crimson.
The party ended almost midnight,it went well, everything is so spectacular from the decor to everything there.
I was waiting in the car dozing off,I'm so tired that couldn't wait to see my self on bed,the door of the back seat of the car I was sitting inside opened, perceived a strong masculine scent,it's so beckoning, I checked to find out it's ya Nabil entering the car. He finished ... His friend,Jamil also said a good bye to me before going.
A sudden knock was heard from glass of my side,I wind the glass down it was Nafeesa " your phone" she said giving me back my phone
"Thank you"
"Have a good night" she said waving
"What do you mean, aren't we going together"
"It's already midnight,we will visit you tomorrow"
"Pls don't go" I held her hand tightly "what's wrong" asked Nafeesa
"Please don't leave me alone" I pleaded in a shaky voice
"You're not alone you are with your husband" she said winking
"Ya Nabil my friend is now in your care, please take good care of her" she said to him
"You don't have to worry Nafeesa about her "
"I know she will be fine in your hand,bye Afi I will visit you tomorrow"
After she left we slipped into complete silent,our car left the venue,I exhaled a big sighed before adjusting my self trying to feel comfortable,the whole things aren't comfortable at all,the glitters and embroidery work on my dreass are so itchy, I'm dying to get changed out of this heavy clothing.
"Are you okay" he asked,I turned to look at him,why is he asking,how can I be okay knowing I will be leaving with him for the rest of my life,how can I be okay?.
"I'm okay I'm just knackered" I said.
For the rest oh the ride I kept dozing off,the ride came to a halt all of a sudden and I accidentally hit my head on the glass,I winced in pain immediately coming back to my senses.
"Were you sleeping" he asked,I look through the mirror and find out we haven't reach yet,there was a hold up on the road. "Uhmm"
"Come" he said,I looked at him perplexed " come closer" he said again,when he sees that I'm not willing,he put his arm through my back pulling me to him,I was so numb to know what is happening I was just looking at him
"You can rest on my arms before we get there" he said I was just looking at him like is it really him or I'm just dreaming.
My heart was beating louder, accelerating faster,I know he can hear my heartbeat because of how proximate we are.
"Calm down ain't eating you alive", I nodded " sleep"
It didn't take time for me to fall asleep,I feel so tranquil to be in his arms,his scent is so welcoming that I couldn't help but want to burry deeply in his arms, with his strong arm protecting my slim waist,I was able to feel his strong masculine muscle through my clothing,this man's strength made me feel protected and it gives me a peace of mind.
I wake up finding my self being carried away suspended in the air,my legs dangling off his strong arm,this time around I'm not in the car but all in his arms holding me in a bridal style way,I tried to free my self from him " Relax" he said shortly and climb up the stairs,he walked into what I assumed is my room,he placed me on the bed.
"Fresh up so we can pray" he left after saying that.
