A couple of months had passed since Athena found out Remus was her godfather. She'd grown extremely close to him over the past couple of months, practically telling him everything that'd happen in her life.

Of course, she was still upset about Sirius, as was her brother, but right now the two truly believed there was no place safer than Hogwarts.

As of right now, she was currently under a tree with Elliot, the two passing time until dinner.

"You alright Thena?" Elliot asks, distracting Athena from her thoughts. Her head perks up, "Yeah, I'm fine- and Thena?" She questions, snickering slightly at the new nickname. Elliot shrugs, "I dunno, I figured everyone in the group has a nickname but you, so I made you one."

A smile spreads across Athena's face at the Slytherin's thoughtfulness, "I like it, Eli."

She shifts her legs, having them lay more comfortably on Elliot's lap, her head resting on top of her bookbag.

The two had been spending a lot more time together since everything with Cedric and Isabella. While Isabella had promised that she'd make an effort to be around Cedric, it didn't help that the Hufflepuff currently had an eye on Sapphire Roja- a girl in their year. And while the girl was really sweet, and she'd had a couple of classes with Athena- Athena couldn't help but feel bad for Isabella.

"Do you think they'll stop being awkward around each other?" Athena asks Elliot, causing him to chuckle. "Honestly? I have no idea. She's being serious Athena, she really likes him. I can tell." Athena nods in agreement, as it was true.

For someone who had said so many times in their previous year at Hogwarts that they didn't have time for boys, she looked at Cedric like he's the only boy in the world.

"And then there's Cedric," Elliot continues, "And well- you know Cedric. I mean props to him Rojas is hot-" His remark causing Athena to kick her leg harshly onto his, making him yelp, "Ouch! I was just being honest! But don't worry, you're still the prettiest girl in my eyes-" Athena rolling her eyes and blushing slightly, "As I was saying! But they'll be over in a week or two," Elliot finishes.

Truth be told, the Slytherin wasn't wrong. Athena loved Cedric to death, and while he doesn't have a single bad bone in his body- being sweet to everyone he comes across, even those who are rude to him! But when it comes to romance, Cedric can't keep a relationship for longer than a month.

Athena likes to think that it's deeper than the idea that he's bored, but every time she brings it up- he gets awfully defense, so she's let it go.

Athena sighs, "So what do we do? Our best friend who's never liked a boy before likes our other best friend who can't keep his attention on a girl for longer than a month." Elliot looks at the Gryffindor before speaking, taking a deep sigh and slapping his hands down on her knees.

"We hope to Merlin that they figure it the fuck out."

Fred sits there, watching Athena and her best friend- her legs on his lap as they talk under a tree. He couldn't help but focus on the fact that they two had been hanging out a lot more recently.

Lee chuckes a crumpled piece of parchment at his friend, noticing he seemed to be out of it today. "You alright, Fred?" He asks, causing Fred to look over at Lee and George. "Say, did Athena ever mention anything to you guys about... liking Elliot?" He asks, the last part of his sentence said quietly.

George and Lee begin to break out into laughter, before realizing that Fred- indeed wasn't joking. "Elliot?!" Lee exclaims, looking at his friend, biting back a laugh. "Fred, come on, you can't be serious. The two have been best friends since our first year." George says, his words causing Fred to fold his arms defensively, "So what? I've liked Athena since our second year and we've been best friends." The Weasley slapping a hand across his mouth when he realized, he'd practically just confessed his feelings for Athena to Lee.

"Bloody hell mate, you like Athena?" He asks his voice calm- making Fred confused, as he'd expected a bigger reaction.

"Yes? Er- why don't you seem more surprised?" Fred asks, making Lee chuckle and shake his head. "Mate, you bring her up all the time," His words making the Gryffindor flush red, "It's always 'Oh Athena would like this, or 'Do you remember when Athena did that'- plus right now! You just asked about her and Elliot."

Fred's face continues to heat up, starting to wonder whether he really makes it that obvious about his feelings for Athena, wondering why when George and Lee bring her up- it's normal, but it's weird when it's him.

"It doesn't matter though," George says, "Freddie here is a little baby, he's never going to do anything about it." He continues, only speaking to Lee, making Fred scoff, "First of all, I'm not a little baby. And second, she doesn't like me." He says, looking down at his hands as he says the last part.

George rolls his eyes, "Come on Fred! There's a closeness between the two of you that nobody else has- and you know it! She doesn't have that connection with me, and we're identical!" He cries out.

His brother's words making Fred's face heat up once again, a chuckle escaping his lips. What was his brother had been saying really true? "Shut up," Fred mumbles, looking away to hide his flustered face.

The spirits of Gryffindor were high that night when they went to bed, with them winning another Quidditch match- that made them one step closer to the Quidditch World cup. Athena swore Wood was so happy with them, that he'd kiss each and every one of them if he had the chance.

The Potter daughter was sleeping blissfully when Alicia shook her awake aggressively, "Athena, wake up! Ron's saying Sirius Black was in his dorm! With a knife!" She exclaims nervously. Her words making Athena jump out of her bed in a panic, the four girls running down the stairs to find Professor McGonagall and the rest of Gryffindor out in the common room.

"IT WASN'T A NIGHTMARE! SIRIUS BLACK WAS STANDING OVER ME, HOLDING A KNIFE!" Ron cries out to Professor McGonagall, holding on to Scabbers for dear life. "How did he enter the common room?" She asks, looking at all of the students.

Neville slowly raises his hand, whimpers leaving his mouth as his hand trembled ever so slightly, Athena feeling bad for the poor bloke as McGonagall makes eye contact with him and sighs, "Very well then."

The girl looks to her side, noticing Fred looks awfully concerned. As much as he doesn't like to admit it, the boy cared for his brother, a lot, and hearing that mass murder had a knife near your younger brother can't be reassuring. Athena loans into Fred's side, grabbing his hand and squeezing it.

"He's fine Freddie, I'm sure of it." She says, making the boy smile and looks at her. He leans down, whispering in her ear, "I know this is bad timing, but cute pajamas," He teases, making Athena blush and look down at her short pajama bottoms, and a thin tank top, her embarrassment increasing, "Oh shut up," She mutters.

"No really, it's adorable." He says, shooting her a wink. Angelina groans from behind the two, "Fred, if you going to flirt with her can you at least do it when a mass murder isn't trying to kill your younger brother!"
