Speeding [JAMILTON] [PART TWO]

I immediately lose my giggle and turn on the car. I drive the rest of the way at only 40 MPH per hour since it's probably only about a half mile away and I can see it. As soon as my car has parked in front of the building, I'm running out and into the building.

In the first room is our secretary, John Laurens. He raises his eyebrows at the sight of me running in, looking slightly messy from my... encounter with Thomas.

"You're here." He deadpans as I begin to walk to my office.

"Yeah." I mumble, getting into the hallway and going into my office. I hear John in the secretary room talking to Mr. Washington, but I don't think much of it.

Until Mr. Washington comes in.

I'm sitting at my desk, examining a hickey I didn't realize had arrived. I didn't even realize Thomas bit my neck, but it's still sexy as hell. Anyway, I'm examining that and I'm about to cover it with spare makeup, but Mr. Wahsington walks in. He has a firm look on my face.

I drop the makeup and put my hand over the hickey.

"Sir..." I mumble, pretending to have just finished working on something by placing down a pencil.

"Son." He replies, taking a step towards me.

"I'm not your son." I mumble weakly.

"You were late. Why?"

I turn red, feeling my hand is wet. I'm sweating.

"I woke up late?" I answer, but more as a question.

"Son, I know when you're lying. Remove your hand from your neck," He pauses as I place my other hand on my neck, "Son, don't choke yourself because I'm asking why you were late. You're better than that. Please remove your hands from your neck."

And so I do.

And a moment later, he's laughing and walking away, "I'll let it slide this time. Next time you have sex before work, have fun explaining that to employees in this company higher than me." He walks out of my office, still laughing like he just saw the funniest thing.

"Okay." I answer, my face red. Great.
