At my arrival home, I was met with Alexander, my husband, and our child, Phillip.
"Daddy!" Phillip came to me first. Alexander walked out behind him. He used to call me 'daddy' but I told him not. Well not in front of Phillip. If you know what I mean-
"Hey." Alex greeted me, waving. Phillip ran back out of the room. I could smell mac n' cheese.
"Hey, Lexi." I smiled and took a step closer to him. He took one towards me and I embraced him.
"How was work?" He asked me. He didn't get flustered around me anymore, but he was still adorable.
"Good." I hugged him tighter and he laughed a bit.
"Thomas, let go of me."
"No. I love you."
Alex pulled away and looked up at me.
"I love you, too."
