Jung Hoseok - Life (Pt.2)

<Your Pov>
You woke up in the first aid room to find J-Hope asleep in a chair next to you. Your head pounded with pain and you felt a bandage tightly wrapped around your forehead. Memories of Thrasher and J-Hope came flashing back which made your head hurt even more. J-Hope had hit Thrasher with his science text book but you couldn't help but think of what J-Hope had endured after you blacked out. You turned your head to J-Hope and saw that his face had numerous bandaids across his cheek and underneath his chin. Your heart hurt as you lightly shook him awake from his peaceful nap. "Hoseok." You whispered. You had never called J-Hope by his first name but in a time like this, you decided it was only right. J-Hope woke up instantly and looked at you with concern in his eyes. "How much does your head hurt (Y/N)? Do you want some ice? Water maybe? Or do you want to sleep more?" He interrogated you with questions but you touched his cheek lightly and he instantly stopped talking. "I'm okay Hoseok." You said. You tried to smile but tears soon filled your eyes and you did your best to hold them back. "Here, sit up slowly." He explained as he guided you gently to a comfortable seated position. "Can you tell me what happened Hoseok?" You asked innocently. Hoseok scratched his ear nervously which only made you worry more. There was a long silence between the two of you until he finally spoke: "Uhm...after you blacked out. Thrasher hit me with my science book and he punched me a few times. The teachers eventually came and I carried you to first aid. You were unconscious for about 4 hours so the nurses fixed up your injuries during that time." J-Hope looked pretty shaken up after his explanation so you touched his shoulder and lifted up his chin so his face was level with yours. "Thanks for defending me J-Hope." You said. J-Hope's eyes were shiny with tears so you leaned in slowly and kissed him on the lips. He was reluctant at first but he soon kissed back and you smiled once you pulled away. J-Hope was your first kiss and you could feel your cheeks blushing so much that you instantly covered your face. You felt J-Hope pull your hands away and you looked at him again. "(Y/N)-ah will you be my girlfriend instead of my best friend?" He asked quietly. "I can be your best friend." You replied before placing your hand on his and drawing him closer to you and kissing J-Hope on the cheek:

"And your girlfriend"
