<Your Pov>
You came home from a long day at work in hopes to celebrate your birthday with Jungkook - your boyfriend. You were surprised to see the house all dark and bland. "Umm Jungkookie? Are you home?" You called out cautiously. There was no reply so you made your way up to the bedroom that you shared. You felt your heart sadden as you saw Jungkook sleeping peacefully. You walked to the bathroom to have a shower and let your tears flow with the water. Your own boyfriend had forgotten your birthday. Although you didn't expect much from him, it still hurt that he had completely forgotten about you. Other nights, you had nightmares about Jungkook leaving you which woke you up countless times during the night. You had noticed that you two were starting to drift a bit, but all those times you brushed it off, you realised your worst nightmare was coming true. The shower head had been running for quite a while so you dried off and changed into fresh pyjamas. You walked back into your bedroom to see Jungkook sitting up on his phone. "Hey (Y/N), how was work?" He asked innocently. "Uhm it was quite busy, so I'm sorry that I'm home so late." You replied quietly. He showed his classic bunny smile before looking back on his phone. (Y/N)?" He replied. "A-aren't you forgetting something?" You stuttered. "Uhm I don't think so. Why, what is it?" He asked. "It's my birthday" You mumbled. "Wait, what?" He said, raising his voice. Jungkook frantically checked the date on his phone and swore under his breath. "I-I'm so sorry (Y/N). I thought it was next month!" He explained as his face turned pale. "Uhm it's okay, Jungkook but..." You started as tears formed in your eyes. "What is it (Y/N)?" He replied. "I think we should break up" You said as a tear ran down your cheek. Jungkook's face turned to anger as he set his phone on the table beside him. He got out of the bed and came to stand in front of you with his tall figure. "Your birthday was never important to me anyway." He hissed before turning around to go back to bed. You turned to go when his voice interrupted you: "We're over"
Those two words hit you like a bullet to your heart and you walked out, taking all the happy memories with Jungkook with you. You walked down the hallway of your apartment with tears streaming down your face like a waterfall. Jungkook's words replayed in your mind as you walked slowly.

".....Never important to me anyway."
"We're over"
