Kim Taehyung - Please don't go

<Your Pov>
You and Taehyung weren't the best of friends, but you were pretty close. Of course, he was in a different class and he had different friends but you always met up with him at recess, lunch or whenever you got the chance. Taehyung was always one to impress you with his quirkiness and jokes but also with his academic scores. Taehyung said he'd be trying out for different schools to get into more academic facilities that would benefit his learning. Honestly, you were reluctant to the idea as you wanted you and Taehyung to graduate together, but you showed your support to him to motivate him more. "Hey (Y/N)!" He greeted happily when he walked through the school gates. "Hi Taehyung." You said quietly. "Why are you using my full name all of a sudden? What happened to Tae Tae?" He chuckled. You shrugged and kept walking towards his locker. By this stage you could sense Taehyung watching you every move but you just kept walking. Suddenly you felt a pair of hands on your shoulders stop you in your place. The pair of hands belonged to Taehyung and he instantly turned you around to face him. You avoided his gaze and stared at his dirty school shoes compared to your neatly polished ones. He straightened your shoulders and lifted your chin so that he was looking directly into your eyes. "Something's wrong with you (Y/N)." He said. "But I know you're not going to tell me, because you don't want me o worry." He sighed. Taehyung linked your arms and you walked together to his locker. The bell for first period eventually rang and you said bye to Taehyung but he stopped you. "Remember (Y/N), you don't have to be strong all the time. You put up these walls so that all your problems are kept to yourself, but you work too hard to fix other people's issues when you should worry about yours first." He explained. You showed a fake smile and replied: "I know Taehyung, but other people's happiness matters more to me than my own." You left Taehyung's locker and went to class to prepare for the long day ahead.

<Time Skip>
<The next day>
"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" You heard from afar. You instantly knew it was Taehyung and you stopped in your place to wait for him to catch up. When he got to you, a piece of paper in his hand caught your attention. "What's that?" You asked curiously. "I passed the test! I got into the highest school in the country!!" He exclaimed. Your heart sank to your feet as he went on and on about his new school. "They have a basketball court, 4 art rooms and even a 3D printer! They also have a-" You interrupted Taehyung to ask him a question which you were scared of the answer. "When are you leaving?" You asked quietly. "Tomorrow." He replied. You stopped when you reached a bench near his locker and gestured your hand for the two of you to sit. "Are you okay (Y/N), you've been quite quiet these past two days." Taehyung asked with concern. You couldn't hold back your feelings anymore and you broke down in tears in front of him. "Please don't go." You begged as tears ran down your face. Taehyung hugged you tightly and you couldn't help but think that you weren't going to get hugs like this anymore. "You know I have to." He said. You sobbed even more and let your tears fall freely. "I'm sorry (Y/N), I thought you were okay with this." He said. "Of course I want you to do well Taehyung but I really didn't want you to move." You replied quietly. Taehyung stared at his feet and you leaned your head on his shoulder. "Let's make the most of the time we have left." He said. You could only nod as tears filled your eyes again and you began to sob into his arms. "Come on. Let's get some food before class." He said cheerfully in hopes to cheer you up. You walked to a nearby convenience store where Taehyung bought you two an ice cream each. You ate your ice creams on the way back and you made it to class by the skin of your teeth. Taehyung waved goodbye and showed his classic box shaped smile before walking to his class. You smiled back but could feel your heart breaking as you knew that smile wouldn't stick around for long.

<The Next Day>
You walked to the school gates and saw Taehyung standing there in his new school uniform. "What are you doing here? You're going to be late." You said. "I needed to see you before I left." He explained. "Why?" You asked. Taehyung grabbed a small box with a bow from his blazer pocket before handing it to you. You opened it cautiously and saw several small Polaroids of you and Taehyung as well as a pen with your names engraved on each side. "Thank you Taehyung." You said before hugging him. You heard the sound of a car horn and you knew it was time for him to leave. "I'll text you everyday." He explained. "Have fun in your new school..." You mumbled as you felt tears build up once more. Taehyung pulled you into a tight hug and you couldn't help but cry in his arms. Taehyung let go and walked to his dad's car. You waved to him and he waved back smiling. You watched the car drive off and you felt a sense of emptiness with the feeling that you weren't going to see him again. You continued walking to your classroom but you stopped at his old locker. "Bye Taehyung" You whispered to yourself.

"I miss you already."
