I meet Joy after school in from of the old gym on the far side of the school ground,

The angel scoffs at my question. "You don't need to concern yourself with this human." She says, "Well now im making it my concern. After all if this involves Rias then as her boyfriend I have a right to know." I say slightly annoyed at her cockiness. She sighs, "Humans." I swear she said under her breath.

With another sigh she begins to explain. "If you must know there are two places within this city that demonic magic levels are exponentially higher than what is both normal and allowed within the guidelines of the treaty between heaven and hell. So I was sent here to figure out why." She notices my expression, one of guilt. "I can give you a reason for this places leaves." I say with a sigh.

She tilts her head, "And that would be?" I point at myself. "The reason is because Rias and another demon here always release magic when the fight for... me." She stares at dumfounded by my explanation. "You can't be serious." She stares at me, "Anyway what's the next location!" I say tring to get past the embarrassment. Almost unfazed she answers, "A set of old building in the down twin area." The three of us sit in silence.

Untill the angel speaks, "So I'll be heading there." As she's about to exit I speak. "If I help you will you try and give us a excuse for the magic levels here?" She turns around clearly interested. "If you help me. I'll talk to my superiors." She says seriously. "Deal angel." I look over at Rias who has mostly stayed quiet. She nods and then says. "I'll meet you here tonight then human." She head twords the door and as she opens it she says, "And my name is joy so address me as such."

the sun is only a few moments away from setting and the air is chilly. Joy begins to walk as I meet her. "So did the demon not come to guard you?" She says with her eyes pointing back at me as I walk a few steps behind her.

"No. She wanted to but I convinced her to stay." We continue walking down the street and turn down an ally, we calmly walk through the space between the buildings as the sound of droplets of water falling and hitting the metal lids of trash cans echo from both sides of us. "She seems quite, I hope this is nothing she might leave me if there's trouble." She stops and turns around.

I get a cold sweat as I think maybe she read my mind, but to my surprise she hands me a pistol. "Huh?" I say confused, "If there's trouble use this. I cant have you dieing on me." She says with a blank face. She then turns around and continues to walk forward. We continue to walk a little before I get the courage to speak, "So your an angel? Is heaven as good as its made out to be?"

I say tring to break the silence. She looks back at me. "Does it matter your going to hell anyways heaven doesn't need a demon lover like yourself in it." "Cold." I say, "So are there archangels in heaven or us it-" she places the spear to my throat, "Stop talking human." She says not even bothering to look at me, I narrow my eyes. "I have a name. Use it." She scoffs at me. "You should be on your knees thanking my for allowing you to even speak my name."

She says like a spoiled rich kid. "Hmph who knew angels where so selfish. She slams the handle of the spear against my chest and slams me against the wall. "Know your place." Her face goes from serious to surprised as I push her back. "Don't threaten me. I'm doing this out of kindness. Don't push me." As we stare angrily at each other a man's voice cuts through the crowd. "Little late for angels to be out."
