Daisy (Part I & II)

Part II - Chapter 20

"Sei bellissimo." I tell him back. It's true. I think I have feelings for him. I'm not sure though. I mean yes he's beautiful and definitely my best friend but I have never had feelings for anyone before.

I don't know. All I know is I always want him around and not in the same way I want my brothers around.

"Hug?" I question him seeing his frazzled expression. He nods and I move into his open arms.

He moved so he was laying down in the grass with me on top of him.

That's how we spent our afternoon. Cloud watching and talking about stupid stuff.

Dinner is quite awkward after James found the two of us cuddling in the field. He might have flipped and now we sit in silence.

I'm not scared of him though. Although it is awkward I can't help but giggle at the boys. They all glare at me which gets me to shut up.

I kick Matteo under the table who is sitting next to me. He kicks me back smirking.

That's what got us in trouble for the second time today. We aren't actually in trouble but mister James seems to be in a pretty pissy mood.

I look at Matteo and lean over to him. "Scaredy cat." I whisper.

"Instigator."

"Gutless."

"Agitator."

"The hell is an agitator?" I question him breaking our name calling.

"You." He points at me.

"How so mister 'I am scared of James the big softy'?" I squint at him.

"Hey I am not a softy." James buts in.

"Oh please James you are the biggest softy ever!" Roman pipes up.

"No one asked for you to speak." James spits at Roman.

"That wasn't nice." I point out. Xander agrees with me.

"James you don't have to be so damn rude all the time." Henry agrees with a small smirk.

"Why are you all turning on me?! We should be dealing with those two."

"It's young love James!" A voice from behind us adds to the conversation. Looking back I see Dante standing there. My eyes go wide and I run over to him jumping into his outstretched arms.

"Hi Dante." I kiss his cheek.

"Hi sweetheart." He kisses mine back. He places me on the ground before going to sit in the empty seat next to mine at the table. "Now why are you attacking the lovebirds pretty boy?"

James groans and looks at him with squinted eyes. "Who invited you?" I can tell he's happy to see Dante but he also looks annoyed because he isn't siding with him.

Answering his question I shoot my hand into the air. "You were getting grumpy." I state giving him my best Daisy smile. He rolls his eyes and then Matteo speaks up.

"We are not lovebirds." He denies.

"Whatever you say, I am just excited to see my favourite people again! Lovely place you got here. Of course I would say James has a good taste but we all already know that seeing as how he is dating me."

That gets a giggle out of me and a laugh out of the rest of them minus James again.

"I'm going to kill you all." He mumbles making us all laugh again.
