OhmFluke A Day

Fluke looked around the room and sighs.

For three years this was his home. His place of comfort. His solidarity. But now, he's leaving it to go back to his actual home.

It was a bittersweet sweet moment for him. He's found solace in this place but then, he finally returns home to his family.

I'm the end, it all went well.

"I can't believe we're leaving."

He turned to look at his friend who has been his roommates for 3 whole years.

They came from the same country but only met each other once they got there. In a foreign country.

They've been the best of friends since then.

"It was a great place." He added.

"It was. I'm going to miss it so much." Fluke nodded. Most of their belongings were already shipped yesterday and earlier that morning. So they only had a couple of luggage with them now.

"Let's go, Earth." With that, both male pushed out their luggage and locked the door to their room for the last time.

They left the keys on the mailbox, as per the owner's request.

Their flight was in 2 more hours and luckily the airport wasn't that far so it'll only take them about 20 minutes to reach it.

Their flight however, is going to be more than 13 hours. England to Thailand is a long journey. That was why Fluke didn't go back for those three years of him studying. He's not very good with planes and thankfully his family understood that.

Earth on the other hand had returned to Thailand a couple of times over the years. That was how he came to know Fluke's family, he's the one they asked to bring stuff to Fluke whenever he's back to Thailand.

Once they were at the airport, they quickly put their luggage to the cargo and roamed around to kill the time.

"Are you excited to get back?" Earth asked when they settled on Mcdonald's to grab a bite.

Fluke nipped on his fries and shrugged. "I guess."

Earth rolled his eyes but quickly changed into demeanour to do a dramatic sobbing. "My best friend's no longer going to be single after this. Poor all those admirers praying over someone who's taken."

"Earth!" Fluke hissed as he threw a piece of cabbage from his burger towards the male who was now cackling.

"What??? You said it yourself, you guys are both waiting until you're both done and you are now so get!"

"Shut up will you?" Fluke hissed again while glaring at his best friend.

Earth chuckled and went back to eating his burger, not missing the smile on Fluke's face.

'Finally, just a little bit more.'

"Yo, Ohm! How have you been?!"

The person mentioned a smile and took a seat across from the man.

"Hey P'Boun. I'm good." He replied.

Boun smiled and passed him the menu. "When did you get back?"

"Yesterday." He replied. They then gestured for the server and got their orders taken.

"So, he's here yet?" Boun asked once the server went away with their orders.

"He's coming back today. Most probably already on his flight now."
