OhmFluke A Day

"Alright, it's going to be an easy scene. It's a first date scene so all the extras will pretend to be the other customers and talk with your table partner, okay?"

A lot of extras were called for this movie scene and Ohm, being in desperation for some pocket money, was not going to let the chance slide. It was easy money, he didn't even care if he's not going to be caught on camera, all he needs is the pay.

"Okay, you've already been assigned with your table number, go on and get ready for the scene." With that,everybody got to their assigned table.

Fortunately, he was seated on a double chair, meaning he didn't need to pretend to be talking to more people, something he didn't want to even be bothered with.

When he was settled in, his fake food was served which they were told they could eat by the way, his table partner was still not there.

Thankfully they still got time so he didn't need to be worried about being replaced if he's going to be sitting there alone.

"Hi! Hi! Sorry I'm late, but I'm here now." He heard somebody say in a haste.

"It's okay, we're just starting. Go to your assigned table."

In a few seconds his table partner arrived.

"Hello."

Ohm looked up and smiled. "Hi."

They both exchanged smiles at each other. Ohm was about to open his mouth when suddenly the director told them to get ready.

"And! Action!"

"So..." Ohm spoke in a lower tone so as to not disturb the scene but still managed to look like he's talking normally. "I know we're supposed to be pretending to talk to each other but, there's no harm if we do, right?"

His partner chuckled lowly and could he just say it's like the sun was shining oh him?

"I suppose so. I'm Fluke."

"Ohm. I would shake your hand but that would ruin the scene won't it?"

Again, Fluke smiles. "It most probably will."

The conversation goes on smoothly between the two extras until they hear a "CUT! Those two extras at the back! Yeah you two!"

Ohm and Fluke both looked at the director. Apparently he was talking to the two of them.

"This scene is supposed to show the two main characters falling in love—" The director said, pointing at the two main characters. "—but why do you two extras seem like you're the one falling in love?"

Fluke blushes as the crew and staff as well as the other extras were looking at them with a teasing smile while Ohm who was sitting across him was smiling giddily.

"Tone it down will you? And you two, up your game." Both the extras and the main characters nodded their heads before the direction yelled out action again.

"I am not going to mouth my words and pretend like I'm talking to you." Ohm said once the scene was on again.

"But that's what we're paid to do." Fluke pouted, playing with the food on his plate. "Plus, we're told to tone down our acting."

"Pffft! How do you tone down your acting? We were doing great. If it's anything it's those main actors who're the ones who can't act. I mean, what's so hard with acting like they're falling in love? All they have to do is look in their partners eyes, and talk like nobody's there." Ohm explained as he shifted his gaze and locked it with Fluke's.

The smaller male was blushing as Ohm kept talking while their eyes were locked with each other.

"Then, just tell them that they're very pretty and are so cute. Their eyes is so beautiful an—"

"CUT!"

Both male jolted from the loud voice and looked at the director again who was looking at them. "Guys, come on."

"I'm sorry we got kicked out." Ohm said as they walked down the street together.

Fluke chuckled and shook his head. "It's okay. It was a fun experience anyway."

"I guess the actors really suck if we're doing better than them."

Both male laughed. They got kicked out after the third take where they again took the attention with the way they were just talking and conversing as extras. However, the director can't help but keep looking at them that he had to kick them out or the shooting will never proceed.

They could've moved them to the back but then the setting would've changed and that's just not something they want.

At least they still got the pay.

"I guess so." Fluke replied.

"So... Now that we're both out and have nothing to do. What do you say if we go and grab a bite? If you're okay, that is."

Fluke smiled and nodded his head at the taller male. "I'd like that."

"Great! I'd make you fall in love with me, the director wishes we're the main actors." Ohm exclaimed excitedly.

Fluke widened his eyes but let out a laugh.Falling in love with the stranger who he'd just met doesn't sound bad at all considering he was already falling a little.
