OhmFluke A Day

"Everybody, this here is Fluke. He just moved in from Lamphun. Fluke, why don't you introduce yourself?"

Fluke took a couple of breaths before smiling towards the whole class. "Hello, my name's Natouch Siripongthon. You can call me Fluke. I moved here 2 weeks ago. Nice to meet everybody."

His cheerful personality shines through, making everybody smile warmly at him. After he was assigned to a seat, his lesson started.

Since moving to Bangkok, he had been excited to go back to school. But since his whole family was moving, they needed some time to adjust with their move and settled properly.

He was sad that he had to leave his friends but he was also excited to get new friends. And sure enough, just a week into the new school, he's gathered many friends being the loveable person that he is.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I didn't see where I was going."

"You sure as hell didn't." Fluke pouted at the harsh tone of the male he had accidentally collided with. He didn't even bother helping Fluke to pick up his books that had scattered on the floor.

The male, let out a scoff before leaving. "I'm sorry." Fluke muttered once again when one of his friends, Mild, helped him.

"It's okay Fluke. You don't need to say sorry, not to him. He didn't deserve it." Fluke raised his eyebrow at Mild as they stood up and the latter gave the books to Fluke.

"That's Ohm Thitiwat." Mild said. "He's the residence loner. The one who never talked to anybody. Always alone and acts so mysterious all the time."

Fluke smiles from the explanation before remembering the had somewhere to be, that was why he was rushing and ended up with his books on the floor with the world's grumpiest kid he's ever seen.

"Oh shoot! I need to go get these books to Ms. Fern. I'll see you in class Mild."

"You don't need any help?"

"It's okay. I better go now. Bye!"

Fluke ran, carefully this time to the class where his teacher was waiting with the books. "Ms. Fern. I'm here." He knocked on the door, announcing his arrival.

"Ah Fluke, come in please. There's something I need to discuss with you." The teacher said as she gestured for the new student to take a seat. Fluke put down the books on the table before taking a seat.

"Well, since you enrolled in the middle of the term, we already started on the year end group project, in this case, it's a pair project. Everybody's already got their own partner."

Fluke smile. "In which I don't have." He added. Ms. Fern nodded with a smile.

"But, there is actually someone without any pair. It was just such a coincidence that you came, because this poor lad would've done the project alone."

"Then I'm glad I came in to save the day."

Both the teacher and student laughed. "That you are. So you're okay if I partner you up with him?"

"Of course Ms. Fern! Who is it?"

"Great! He's Ohm Thitiwat, you're in the same class and I believe he sits in the back row so you probably don't know him yet." Ms. Fern said.

"Okay, I'll get to know him and find out what's his progress. Is that all Ms. Fern?" Fluke asked, getting ready to leave because his next class is starting.
