OhmFluke A Day

Fluke has been a volunteer in the day care for about a month now.

He's always like kids and since he has some free time after school, he decided to volunteer in the local day care. He didn't really care about not being paid, simply because his family is pretty well off but that's not something he likes to tell people.

Each second he gets to spend with children is therapeutic for him. It helps him to not think about the stress of school work and others. His adoration towards kids was returned because kids love him as much as he does.

No matter if they're meeting him for the first time or not, kids will instantly love his companion. He's that pleasant towards them.

Today was a special day because they're taking the kids to an amusement park. Courtesy of Fluke. He convinced his father to book the whole park for the daycare and it made it easier for the kids to play with it being just them. Fluke's father is one of the richest men in Thailand and loves Fluke very dearly as he's their only child and when he asked for some funds, he was more than happy to do it for his son.

Fluke was a very kind person as a kid and he rarely asked for anything from his parents. That was why whenever he did, his father wouldn't even hesitate to agree because he knows Fluke isn't doing it for himself. He's helping others and he's proud of his son for doing this.

The daycare owner was more than happy to have Fluke as their volunteer as he's helped them financially and physically. The staff all loved him as much as the kids did.

"Thank you so much for doing this K'Fluke." The headmistress said once they arrived at the amusement park. She had been thanking Fluke the moment the male suggested the idea and said that he'll cover their expenses. Fluke merely smiled and nodded his head, already saying that it was nothing much because he loves to see the smiles on the children.

Ohm Thitiwat was grumpy. Today was supposed to be his day off from work but because one of his coworkers had to take an emergency leave, he was told to come to work.

Out of all the days he had to come to work, today is probably the day that he doesn't want to come simply because he knows there's going to be only kids to entertain. They've been told about the arrival of children for today and some rich man had booked the whole day for these kids and he almost immediately asked for a day off because those are his weakness.

Children.

No, not because he's weak against them, but simply because they ran away from the sight of him and parents tend to be mad at him because he scares their kids. 'I can't help it if I look like this, dipshits.'

Maybe because he never smiles but that was because he didn't find anything worth smiling at. Smiling for.

So he came into work with nothing but angriness. Furthermore when he's assigned to be on one of the rides that's most popular for kids.

"Ugh! Can't this day be any worse!"

Once the kids arrive, of course they will go to the first ride that's colorful and can accommodate everybody, the merry go round. The ride he's in charge of. And what happened when the kids saw him? They stopped running, and looked at him like they've just seen a monster and came running back to the adults. 'Great, now I'm gonna get fired again.'

He manages to stay away from children while working in that amusement park because he's usually working behind the counter where only adults will see him. But today it seemed like it was inevitable.

However, he wasn't expecting for his day to get better, because that's exactly what happened when he met the most beautiful, small, adorable male that comes with the group of children.

"I'm so sorry about that, they're just too hyper and I don't know what happened." The male was like an angel with bright lights surrounding him and his voice was like music to his ears. Ohm was speechless. For the first time in his life.

"I-It's okay." He said. Then the male smiles, which takes his breath away. "I'm Ohm." 'Okay, what the fuck?'

Fluke was taken aback by the sudden introduction but smiles. "I'm Fluke. I'm volunteering for this daycare and I want to say thank you for today on behalf of the daycare."

By then the kids had all gotten into their own horses and the teachers had made sure that everybody was safe and secure before signaling for Ohm to start the machine. And Ohm did, albeit a bit distracted by the male in front of him.

"Volunteer?" He asked. 'Why would anybody volunteer to work in a daycare?'

Fluke nodded his head, smiling at the children and waving his hands at those who were shouting his name. "Yup, ain't children just the best?"

Ohm had to take a double look at the male. 'Is he for real?'

And turns out he is, because for the rest of their time there, he can see that the children clearly love Fluke and Fluke has never once lost his smile. In fact, his face brightens up whenever he's interacting with the children.

Ohm's eyes were always drawn into the male, unnoticed by him that his own lips would lift up forming a small smile, all because of one Fluke Natouch.
