MaiYok

Yok was practicing his dance move by the lake alone. It's the only place where he can get away and be alone without any disturbance from his father.

He has been dancing for the past 40 minutes, only stoping for a couple of water breaks when he heard somebody clearing their throat.

He quickly turn around and was met with a pair of eyes who was looking at him expectantly.

"What are you doing?" The other male ask. By the clothes he's wearing he could tell they're probably in the same age but he goes to a different school.

"Uhm... practicing?" Yok answered, putting down his bottle of water and turning off the music from his music player.

"For what?"

"Why do you want to know?" He frowns.

The other male chuckled dryly. "I'm Men."

Yok didn't answer. Why is this person suddenly introducing himself? He didn't reply and took out one of his cigarettes. He needed a longer break anyway, might as well smoke.

"Wow." Men exclaimed seeing the cigarette.

"What? Never seen one before?"

"Of course I have, just never thought I'd see one on a school kid."

Yok stopped for awhile then smirk. "Lots of school kid smoke."

Men didn't answer. Both male went quite, just staring into the lake when they heard another voice shouting.

"Men!"

Both boys looked at the source of voice to find a man running towards them.

Yok widen his eyes at the approaching male.

"Men!" The male shouted as he walked closer to the boy in the school uniform who was suddenly glaring at the obviously older male.

"Why'd you ran off? Dad was worried sick!" He obviously didn't see the other presence near them, his attention solely on Men.

"It just pisses me off." Men answered without looking at his older brother.

Men's answer made him sigh. He knows his younger brother is a stubborn person, but he didn't want their father to worry too much now. He shook his head and just then he realise that certain male standing with a piece of lighted cigarette on his hand.

His eyes widen for a while before they harden at the other.

Men who had his back towards his older brother didn't realise the two figure was looking at each other.

"Just go away Phi, I'll come back later." He said.

Yok throws away the cigarette and quickly put off the fire before rushing towards his bag and shoving his stuff into the said bag.

Without a word he walked away from the two figures, cursing under his breath.

Two days later he went back to the lake. His father has been badgering him and he just needed to unwind.

Sitting by the tree near the lake, he rummage through his bag to look for a certain thing that can help him unstressed. His fingers found the specific thing and he pulled it out before his wrist was in a hold of someone.

He gasped when he saw it was someone who he didn't think about after two days ago.

"P-P'Mai..."

Mai glared at the cigarette that was in Yok's hand.

"What did I told you about smoking Yok?"

The younger male didn't answer. The event from two days ago coming back.

P'Mai caught him with a cigarette in his hand. Even though he didn't say anything, Yok knows he was mad. Thankfully Men was there so Mai didn't say anything, so he took that chance to run away.

But as soon as he got home his father was waiting for him and everything about P'Mai went away from his head until now.

Mai gently let go of his wrist and took the cigarette before throwing it away.

"Did something happened again?" He asked as his hand gently caress the smaller male's cheek.

The soft touch made Yok's heart flutter. They didn't meet each other much, only occasionally but he knows P'Mai cares about him.

After P'Arm, Yok was scared to ever fall in love. But he did again. And it scared him because P'Mai treated him so different from P'Arm. P'Mai took care of him and always asked if he's okay.

His eyes suddenly watered. The feeling of longing towards the male in front of him too overwhelming.

"I-I miss you Phi." He choked on his sobs as he moved closer and snaking his arms around the taller male's waist before hiding his face on Mai's chest.

Mai return the hug. "Phi missed you too Yok. Phi sorry nah.. A lot is happening at him and I didn't have time to see you." Small kisses was rained on Yok's hairline which helps soothe the younger a little.

"Is that why you're smoking again?"

Yok sobbed and nodded a little.

"I'm sorry. I'll try to come and see you as much as I can."

"It's okay phi, I understand you're busy. Just having you here with me is enough."

Mai didn't answer but tighten his hold.

He knows how Yok is just trying to soothe his feelings, but he will try and be there for the smaller.

He knows what he's feeling towards the younger is stronger than what he felt for Pond and he will prove it to him.

Because Yok knows everything about Pond. And Mai felt guilty that he used to tell Yok everything about her before.

But now everything changed. His feelings towards Yok changes. The more time they spent together the more he can see how much he's come to care and his feeling deepened.

He will show Yok how much he's come to mean in his live now.

"I'll always be here with you Yok."
