A Repost

From the very beginning, Fluke's family objected strongly to him dating this Ohm. Saying that it has got to do with family background and that Fluke will suffer for the rest of his life if he were to be with him.

Due to family's pressure, the couple quarrel very often. Though Fluke loves Ohm deeply, he always asks him, "How deep is your love for me?"

As Ohm is not good with his words, this often causes Fluke to be very upset. With that and the family's pressure, Fluke often ventured his anger on him. As for Ohm, he only endures it in silence.

After a couple of years, Ohm finally graduated and decided to further his studies overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to Fluke.

"I'm not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?"

Fluke agreed, and with Ohm's determination, the family finally gave in and agreed to let them get married. So before he leaves, they get engaged.

Fluke went out to the working society, whereas Ohm was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails and phone calls. Though it's hard, both never thought of giving up.

One day, while Fluke was on his way to work, he was knocked down by a car that lost control. When he woke up, he saw his parents beside his bed. He realised that he was badly injured. Seeing his mum crying, he wanted to comfort her. But he realized that all that could come out of his mouth was just a sigh. He had lost his voice.

The doctor says that the impact on his brain has caused him to lose his voice. Listening to his parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out from his, he broke down.

During the stay in the hospital, besides the silence, it's still just the silent cry that accompanied him. Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone. It pierced into his heart every time it rang. He does not wish to let Ohm know. And not wanting to be a burden to him, he wrote a letter to Ohm saying that he does not wish to wait any longer.

With that, he sent the ring back to him. In return, Ohm sent millions and millions of replies, and countless phone calls. All Fluke could do, besides crying, is still crying.

The parents decided to move away, hoping that he could eventually forget everything and be happy.

With a new environment, Fluke learned sign language and started a new life. Telling himself every day that he must forget Ohm. One day, his friend came and told him that Ohm's back. He asked his friend not to let him know what happened to him. Since then, there wasn't any more news of his lover.

A year has passed and his friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for Ohm's wedding. Fluke was shattered. When he opened the letter, he saw his name in it instead.

When he was about to ask his friend what's going on, he saw Ohm standing in front of him. He used sign language telling,

"I've spent a year's time learning sign language. Just to let you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I love you."

With that, he slipped the ring back into his finger. Fluke finally smiled.
