OhmFluke A Day

Ohm was in his room, finishing the last of his homework and his Mommy Pharm came in.

"Ohmmy.."

The little boy raised his head to look at this parent.

"Yes?"

"Here's your milk baby. Drink it before you go to bed." Ohm nodded his head.

Pharm walked towards the bed and placed the glass of warm milk on the table side before peering at Ohm's homework.

"Almost done?"

"Uhn."

"So you don't need my help?"

"It's okay mommy, I'm almost done." Ohm answered with a smile. Pharm returned the smile and ruffled his son's hair affectionately.

"But mommy, I need help for tomorrow's class."

"What is it?"

Ohm put down his pencil, checking the homework one last time and closing the book.

"Tomorrow is J. I don't know what word I can use."

Pharm nodded his head. Understanding that his son's now learning the english alphabet.

"Well, there's jacket, jack fruit, jam and—"

"No mommy, it need to be something that I can connect with Fluke."

"What?"

"I need to make the word connect with Fluke. Like what I did before for the previous letters. I used, aisle, baby, consummate, devoted, f—"

"O—Okay baby, mummy got it." Pharm chuckled. "So you need a word that starts from J to show your love to Fluke."

"Yes!"

Pharm laughed. "I guess I better prepare myself when you guys get married."

"Mummy!"

"Okay, okay. How about. . ."

Teacher Pu had the kids singing along to a song before she started the alphabet lesson.

Today is a bit of a special day since a new teacher is coming in and as per their kindergarten policy, the new teacher will have to observe the environment of of one of the class before proceeding to teach themselves.

"Good job guys!" Teacher Pu cheered, clapping her hands.

The student copying her.

"Alright, everybody go back to your seats. We're gonna start the alphabet lesson now. Who remembers what letter is it today?"

"Jayyyyyyyy~~" The kids replied in a sing-a-song.

Teacher Pu and chuckled and nodded. "Right, it's J. For the letter J, there's the word, Jug, Jar, and Jacket."

She explained while writing the words on the white board. "Okay, because there's Teacher Duean here, why don't we start with Ian?"

Ian was sitting beside Teacher Duean, so the kid stood up and starts his turn.

Fluke was following the orders of the students. His eyes following each and every children, anticipating his turn like always. Ohm on the other hand was as always, playing with Fluke's little fingers.

"After Men is me." Fluke muttered to himself with a nod. And sure enough, Teacher Pu called his name.

"That was very good Men!" Teacher Pu clapped. "Okay Fluke, your turn."

The smaller kid nodded and stood up, Ohm softly let his hand go and pulling his chair away a bit, like he usually do.

The movement didn't go unnoticed by the new teacher.

"J, Joy. Fluke finds joy whenever Fluke is allowed to slept in." The teachers laughed. Ohm chuckled. He didn't mind Fluke not mentioning him, maybe the small boy was shy by the new teacher.

Teacher Pu smile. "Thank you Fluke. Ohmmy, your turn."

Ohm stood up. "J, Jewel. Fluke is like a jewel that I promise to cherish and keep forever."

He said confidently. Teacher Pu wasn't even surprise anymore, getting used to the proclamation of love by the taller boy.

She changed her gaze towards Teacher Duean who had her eye widen.

'I need to tell her about them after the class.'
